On Failure

Failure is a common thing in our daily lives. If we don't work hard and try our best, failure will happen. Sometimes, even when we have already worked hard and made great efforts, we just cannot get rid of failure. We can say that every one has experienced failure,which is just in-evitable.

Attitudes towards failure differ from one to another. Some people hate failure and lose heart when they fail, as if it were the end of the world and they had no other way out. Others believe that failure is as instructive and inspiring as success. If they don' t give up and learn something from the past failure, they will make it in the end.

In my point of view, failure, just as success, is part of our life. It is true that we work hard in order to achieve success, but we should also have the capacity to learn to live with failures.

We must recognize that failure is not that bad as we thought. Just as the old saying runs, "Failure is the mother of success. " Failure will lead us to success in the end.

Nowadays, web-shopping plays a more and more important role in our daily life. With less money, we can buy a lot of goods of high quality through internet without the trouble of going to the stores ourselves. Therefore, it is safe to say that web-shopping is quite convenient.

Despite its advantages, web-shopping also has many disadvantages. For people who like buying staff through internet, sometimes web-shopping is a bait to lead them to a cheating trap.

The web-sellers may receive their money but do not send back the products. It also happens that people may receive defect goods.

As new science and high-tech develops, web-shopping will become a dominant way of buy-ing goods provided that it is properly managed and controlled. Web-shopping will achieve great prosperity because it is beneficial for both the web-sellers and the consumers.

Car in Cities

Nowadays, people' s living standard has been improved greatly. Consequently, more and more people in big cities have their own cars, and there are still more people who are going to buy cars soon.

There are some advantages to have a car in big cities. Firstly, a car makes one arrange his transportation more freely. You can go out whenever you like. In addition, a car makes it easier and more comfortable for traveling. With a car, you do not need to wait for the bus in the icy cold in winter or under the burning sun in summer.

In spite of all these advantages, too many cars in big cities will cause some problems. First-ly, there may be more traffic jams since there are more and more

cars. Secondly, more cars will lead to serious air pollution. Besides, parking will be a big problem since parking spaces in large cities are limited. All in all, if conditions permit, owning a car in big cities can make our work more efficient, and our life will become more pleasant as well. The Importance of Self-Confidence

No matter what we do, we should have confidence. Without confidence, it is almost impos-sible that one would ever achieve success, especially when he has some drawbacks or is faced with hardships, which seems to be self-evident. However, in real life there are many people who are always complaining that they are not able to do something or that it is too difficult for them to do something. Perhaps some people believe so, but for many others, it only shows that they do not have any confidence in themselves.

Some people are frustrated even though they have the ability to do the things. There are, a-mong others, two main reasons. Firstly, they do not have a clear and correct understanding about themselves. Secondly, they sometimes just overestimate their difficulties which are in fact not that difficult.

To build up confidence in oneself, one should have the right attitude towards his own abili-ties. We should never underestimate our abilities and overestimate the difficulties, but should be-lieve in ourselves. Just as the proverb goes, "Where there is a will, there is a way." Only with self-confidence can we achieve success.
