主要结构:

1) 说明写作目的表明想要获得什么工作或学位，介绍自己，为什么写信若是应聘工作则还需说明何时何地从哪里获得该职位的招聘信息（对公司评估广告效应非常重要)所有这些可以用一两句话概括

2) 介绍相关工作经历及本人个性，以表明你可以胜任这个职位包括教育背景、工作经历、个人能力及成就。还可根据情况简单介绍个人爱好和兴趣。注意：所有这些内容均应与应聘工作或学位有关系

3) 表示感谢和期待，恳请招聘单位对自己的申请给予优先考虑，留下联络方式及对对方表示感谢。

高考例题：假定你是李华，从互联网（the Internet）上得知一个国际中学生组织将在新加坡(Singapore)举办夏令营，欢迎各国学生参加。请写一封电子邮件申请参加。

内容主要包括：1.自我介绍(包括英语能力); 2.参加意图（介绍中国、了解其他国家)；3.希望获准。（2012全国课标卷）

写明活动安排的细节及需要告诉对方的注意事项。诸如时间、地点、参加人员、人数，需要做些什么样的准备以及需要穿着什么的服饰：formal / informal

二、典例:假定你是李华。你班同学决定为小明举办生日聚会。请你写信邀请外教Susan参加，要点包括：⒈时间：周五晚8点至9点⒉地点：学生俱乐部⒊内容：生日歌、蛋糕、游戏等⒋要求：备小礼物（2012全国大纲卷）

建议信(Letter of suggestion)

一、建议信写作注意事项：写作目的是提出建议或忠告。不是投诉信，观点要合情合理，注意礼貌当先。

二、写作方法：

①首段：a.简介自己，不要罗嗦；b.说明目的，注意语气。

②主体：a.提出具体建议；b.首先肯定优点，再写改进内容，否则变成投诉信；c.经常进行交流，注意对方感受，时时提到你和我，否则容易跑题写成议论文，因为内容与议论文相似。

③尾段：总结建议，注意礼貌，易于接受。

三、写作流程：说明写信的目的→介绍详情说明原因→提出建议→提出希望采纳建议，并表示谢意，盼望

四、典例：假定你是李华，你的英国朋友Peter来信向你咨询如何才能学好中文。请你根据下列要点回信。要点：1.参加中文学习班； 2.看中文书刊、电视；3.学唱中文歌曲；4.交中国朋友。注意：1.词数100左右；

2.可适当增加细节，以使行文连贯；

Dear Peter,

I’m glad to receive your letter asking for my advice on how to

learn Chinese well. Here are a few suggestions.

First, it is important to take a Chinese course, as you’ll be able to learn from the teacher and practice with your fellow students. Then, it also helps to watch TV and read books, newspapers and magazines in Chinese whenever possible. Furthermore, it should be a good idea to learn and sing Chinese songs. Because by doing so you’ll learn and remember Chinese words more easily. You can also make more Chinese friends. I’m quite sure that they will tell you a lot about China and help you learn Chinese. 投诉信 (Letter of Complaint) 一、投诉信结构：

（1）开头：自我介绍，交代投诉内容，表明本信的目的和要求。

（2）正文：说明情况，讲清利害，分析利弊。告诉对方你因此受到的伤害或不便，提出解决问题的建议，表明希望如何处理。

（3）结尾：表达希望问题得到迅速恰当解决的强烈愿望，希望尽快得到满意的答复。
