1.What’s the time, please?请问几点?

【剖析】这句是常用来询问时间的。

time构成的常用句型:

a. “time”作为不可数名词时,表示“时间”、“闲暇”的意思。例如:

It‘s time for lunch.到吃饭的时间了。

I have no time to play football with you.我没时间和你去踢足球。

b. “time”作为可数名词时,表示“次数”、“倍数”的意思。

(1) 表示“次数”:例如:Can you jump three times? 你能跳三次吗?

(2) 表示“倍数”:例如:This lake is two times as large as that one. 这个湖是那个湖的两倍。

c. “time”表示“加减乘除”中“乘”的意思。例如:

Five times six is thirty. 五乘以六等于三十)

注意:时间后面带有am的表示早上,pm的表示下午。例如:

8:00am表示早上8:00

9:00pm则表示下午9:00

2. It’s time to …..是时间该做。。。

【剖析】介词to的用法:

1) 动词+to:介词to意为“达到,指向”等:agree to赞同,come to达到,drink to为…干杯,get to到达,listen to听,turn to求助,write to给某人写信。例如:

I can’t tell my parents about it. I don’t know who to turn to.

我不能跟我的父母说这件事,我不知道该求谁。

2) be+形容词/过去分词+to:to的意思是“对…”:be close to紧挨着, the good to对…有好处,be harmful to对…有危害,be important to对…重要,be kind to友好对待, be near to靠近,be polite to礼貌待人,be useful to 对…有用,be used to习惯。例如:

I’m used to the noise. 我对噪音已经习惯了。

She is very kind to animals. 她非常爱护动物。

3. Let’s go to school now.我们现在去学校吧。

【剖析】以let开头的祈使句用法:

■let后接第一人称。例如:

Let’s have a look. 让我看一下。

Let’s take a taxi! 让我们坐出租车吧!

Let’s give you a hand. 让我帮助你。

Let me have a try. 我来试一试。

■let后接第二人称(较少见)。例如:

Let you and I try to make this all right. 让你和我试试把这个做好。

■let后接第三人称。例如:

Let every man do his best. 让每个人人尽其才。

Let him have his own way. 让他照自己的意思做吧!

Let her do what she likes. 让她做她想做的事吧。

4. Shall we watch TV? 我们可以看电视吗?

【剖析】shall的用法:

(1). Shall用于第一人称,表示征求对方的意愿。例如:

What shall we do this evening? 今晚我们做什么呢?

(2). Shall用于第一、第三人称疑问句中,表示说话人征求对方的意见或向对方请示。例如:

Shall we begin our lesson? 我们可以上课了吗?

When shall he be able to leave the hospital? 他什么时候可以出院?

(3). Shall用于第二、第三人称,表示说话人给对方命令、警告、允诺或威胁。例如:You shall fail if you don't work harder. 如果你不努力的话你会失败。(表警告)

He shall be punished. 他会受到惩罚的。(表威胁)
