The Harm of PC Games

Recently, PC games have become very popular on campus. What amazes us most is that many students often spend the whole night playing such games. And some of them even play truant to go to Internet bars. We can see that more and more students have indulged in PC games.

There are many reasons explaining the harms of PC games. The main reason is that playing PC games is an enormous waste of time and we will have little time for our study. What is more, most games are about violent and unhealthy contents. As a result, those who play PC games day and night will be harmed physically and spiritually.

Considering all these, I believe that we should deal with PC games carefully. First of all, we shouldn’t spend too much time, energy and money on the games because study is our priority. Cheating in Exams

Nowadays, many students tend to cheat in exams. For one thing, some students copy the answers from others. For another, some even ask ringers for help. It is obvious that the phenomenon of cheating in exams becomes very serious.

Many remarkable factors contribute to the cheating in exams. First of all, some students just play time away and want to pass the exams without efforts. In addition, some are under great pressure from parents and they fear to fail in the exams. Thirdly, some even cheat to get high scores and scholarships.

As I understand, cheating do great harm to students and some effective measures should be taken to deal with it. On the one hand, students are victims of cheating and harms should be explained to them. On the other hand, punishment or penalty should be given to those who have been found cheating. In conclusion, we must put an end to cheating in exams.

Is It Good to Receive Athletic Students at Lower Academic Standards?

There is a heated debate over the enrollment of athletic students. There are mainly two kinds of opinions. It is commonly accepted that athletic students can help universities win a place in sports competition. In contrast, others hold that there are many disadvantages to lower their scores of enrollment.

Those who hold the first opinion suggest that universities should improve themselves in sports competition by lowering scores for athletic students. In their view, these students can continue their academic study as well. However, others think that it’s harmful to enrollment system.
