参考范文:

Dear editor,

I’m very glad to take part in the creativity competition of travel. As for me, I’d like to go to the countryside for a trip of a week because the air is fresh and clear, which is beneficial to my health, and the trees and flowers are so attractive that I can enjoy a quiet life there.

I’m planning to go by bike. In this way, I can not only take exercise but also enjoy the beautiful scenery. During the trip in the countryside, I plan to arrange as many activities as possible. For example, I will help the local students with their studies and learn some far ming knowledge from the farmers. Moreover, I’ll take some gifts, such as school-bags, books, pens and pencils to them. I believe I can make many friends and benefit a lot from this meaningful trip.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Yours truly,

Li Hua

附录:听力材料

1. M: Good evening. My name is Ford. I believe you have a room kept for me.

W: Just a moment, Mr. Ford. Oh, yes, it’s Room 126. Will you just fill in this form, please?

2. M: I hope I could see Jack and his wife here.

W: They intended to come. But a moment ago Jack’s mother called to say that he had to take his daughter to hospital.

3. M: Hello! I’m glad to see you. How is y our father?

W: My father is very sick. He coughs so badly.

M: To my understanding, he really should listen to the doctor and cut down on smoking.

4. M: Has your husband returned from Tokyo yet?

W: Yes, he came back just a couple of days ago. But he’s leaving Paris for London tomorrow.

5. W: Can I have my money back on this skirt?

M: Anything wrong with it?

W: Yes, this is not perfect. See? I didn’t notice this hole when I bought it.

M: Oh, I’m very sorry about that. You can change it for another one if you prefer.

6. M: Hi, Janet. My wife’s in the middle of baking a cake and she ran out of sugar so she asked me to

run over here to borrow some.

W: Sugar? Sure, I have plenty. Here you are. I have enough until I go shopping on Saturday.

M: Thank s. It’s our little boy’s birthday and we’re celebrating it this evening. Can you come over for cake and ice cream at 8:00?

W: Yes, John, I’d love to. I’ll see all of you then.

7. W: I just read an interesting fact. Did you know that people who spend less than ten minutes in a store are five times more

likely to buy things than those who spend half an hour there?

M: I read that article, too. But I think if someone has been in a store for ten minutes, he usually had something special to buy. W: And someone who spends more time there may be just looking?

M: Exactly. Haven’t you ever gone into a store, thinking you’d better buy something, and then talked yourself out of it?

W: Yes, I have, especially when I thought I could get it for less elsewhere, or I really didn’t need it at all.

M: Exactly. But if you run in to buy something special and have very little time, you pick up, pay for it immediately, and then leave.

W: That’s true. Maybe we should learn a lesson from that: take your time and you wil l spend less money.

8. W: Did you pack your bag, Steve?

M: I’m going to do it now.

W: How long will you be away?

M: I won’t get back until Saturday evening or Sunday morning. I have a lot of business in Los Angeles.

W: Do you need to stay that long?

M: I don’t want to, but I have to. I have a lot of meetings on my schedule.

W: You know you’ll miss Peter’s birthday party.

M: Oh! I forgot about that! What time is the party?

W: Two o’clock Saturday afternoon.

M: Well, I’ll try to get back Sat urday morning.

W: That will make Peter very happy.

9. W: Clinic. Can I help you?

M: Good afternoon. This is Frank Stone. I want to make an appointment with Dr. Milton, please.

W: Yes, of course, Mr. Stone. We have you on our records. Can you manage this afternoon?

M: I’m afraid not. I can manage tomorrow.

W: I’m afraid Dr. Milton’s not on duty tomorrow. He’ll be here the day after tomorrow. That’s

Thursday, March 27th.

M: Fine.

W: Will 5:30 be all right?

M: Well, yes. But what time is the clinic closed?

W: We start from 9:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. on weekdays. We don’t work at the weekend.

M: I’d prefer a later time so that I can come along after work.

W: Then what about 6:15?

M: Well, that’s fine.

10.Many thousands of children have serious accidents in their homes. Some children are so badly hurt that they die.

The most common accidents are with fire and hot water. Small children often touch pots of boiling water. The pots fall over and the hot water falls on the children and burns them. Some children like to play with fire. They enjoy striking matches or throwing things on a fire to make it burn. If a fire gets too big, it gets out of control. Then the house catches fire. It is very dangerous to play with matches.

Some kinds of clothing burn very easily. Many children have been badly burned because they have stood too near a fire and their clothing has suddenly burst into fire. Although fire and hot water cause most accidents in the home, many children

cut themselves with knives. Some are made very ill from taking their parent’s medicine.

There is only one good way to prevent accidents in the home: Do not touch anything that is dangerous.

Study has found that the manner (25)______ ______ a mother interacts with her friends makes a role model for an adolescent child when building (26)______ his/her own peer friendships. Unfortunately, teens often pick up on the negative elements in a relationship, such as conflict and opposition, and then copy these attitudes into their own relationships。 The new study investigated a previously understudied association —how a parent’s friendships influence the emotional well-being of their adolescent children. For the study, researchers studied the development of friendships and (27)______ peer relationships during adolescence and their impact on psychological adjustment. They found that adolescents (28)______imitate the negative characteristics of their mothers’ relationships in their own peer-to-peer friendships. The finding shows that mothers (29)______(serve) as role models for their adolescents during formative years. Additional findings suggest that adolescents internalize their reactions to their mothers’ conflict with adult friends and (30)______they have learned might lead them to anxietyand depression. Actually, conflict is a normal part of any relationship —be it a relationship between a parent and a child, or a mother and her friends. But (31)______(expose) to high levels of such conflict generally isn’t going to be good for children. Parents should consider whether they are good role models for their children. Parents should behave well especially where their friends are concerned. 2016沈阳市高三英语二模

2016年沈阳市高三质量监测(二) A Jack was born without eyes. He was very lucky as he grew up having other kittens(young cats) to socialize(交往)with, and was used to people from the moment he was born. However, when it came time to find the kittens homes, no one knew where Jack would end up. That’s when I got an e-mail from my friend. All she asked was “Do you still want one of the kittens? There’s one here with no eyes and no one would like to take him.” Without thinking I told her that I did want the kitten. When we first brought him home, Jack stayed mostly in my room. After about a day he had no issues running around and climbing on everything. At times he gets lost in the house, he’ll stop. But we just call his name and talk to him and it isn’t long before he finds his way back to us. A few weeks after getting Jack, we got a new barn cat named Bear. Jack and Bear have become best friends. It doesn’t matter that he can’t see. He always knows when Bear is around. He’ll run across the yard straight to Bear and wrap his front legs around his neck in a big hug.
