1) describe the drawing briefly,

2) explain its intended meaning, and

A young mother was taking her daughter, a fast-growing schoolgirl, by the hand. And 30 years later, the daughter firmly supports the mother, who is already old. This warm and touching scene depicted in the pictures reflects the love and affection in the family which make up the very basis of a harmonious society.

On the one hand, it is human nature that our parents love us-they spare no efforts to provide us with the best care, opportunities and unselfish help whenever needed. On the other hand, such affection and sacrifice without thinking of a reward help us develop the ability to feel the human touch and give them support when we grow up. However, in modern society, the care from some adult children is far from enough-they just excuse themselves by saying that they have a lot of work to do. Actually, people can always find time for visits, and for most of the time, what is needed may only be a greeting call. What's more important, we should be more tolerant towards our parents for when they grow old their thoughts and living style may not be as open or up-to-date as ours.

All in all, don't hesitate to devote our time and energy to accompanying our parents. Their love and care have empowered our growth and ours will surely sustain their sense of security and happiness.
