1 . Customs meeting for the first time in Different Countries

Different countries has different customs.In Brazil , people think it?s polite to kiss each other when they meet for the first time. In Mexico and China, people shake hands. And in Japan and Keroa people bow to each other.We should act in different ways in different countries.. 2 Say something about the tables manners in the world

In Japan , it?s polite to make noise when you?re eating, especially when you?re eating noodles. It shows that you like the food and it?s not polite to stick your chopsticks into

your food. And you shouldn?t point at anyone with your chopsticks.In France ,you should put bread on the table

instead of on the plate .

3. Bad Days

One day, I got up late because my alarm clock didn?t go off. When I got up my father had already got in the bathroom.

After he got out of the bathroom I had a quick breakfast and

got dressed. But by the time I went to the bus station, the bus had already left. When I got to school, the school gate was closed. Then a man went out and said you were late but today is Sunday. What a bad day it was.

When we visit a foreign country, it is very common and necessary for us to ask somebody for help. So I think asking for information politely is very important for us. For example, “where is the book shop?” and “could you tell me where the book shop is?” are similar requests. But the first sounds rude, so maybe the person you ask won?t help you. If you ask him or her politely like the second, maybe he or she will help you happily. Although speaking politely seems more difficult than being direct, it is very helpful for us. So let?s be polite.

5. Animals in zoos

There are a lot of zoos in our country. In zoos, we can see many kinds of animals all around the world, the tourists are very happy. But do we think about animals? The animals are kept in tiny cages and can hardly move at all, they are not happy. We should protect the animals and give them a very suitable home instead of keeping them in cages for tourists to watch. Animals also have parents, friends and habitats. They also want to have fun with their parents and friends. We should save the mountains that animals live in, I think at that time we don?t need the zoos any more.

6. Different country has different kinds of customs.

For example, people are supposed to do different things when they meet for the first time. People in Korea and Japan are supposed to bow, Chinese are supposed to shake hands, Brazilians and Americas are supposed to kiss when they meet in the first time.

As for time, the people in Colombia are very relaxed, if someone tell a friend he or she will go to their house, he or she can arrive a bit late. But in Switzerland, it?s very important to be on time, if someone invites you to meet them at 8：30, you have to be there on time. If you are late, your friend may get angry.

There are different customs in countries for table manners. For example, in the US, you?re not supposed to eat with your hands. In Brazil, you should wipe your mouth with your napkin every time you drink a drink. In Korea, the youngest person

is supposed to eating last. In Japan, it?s rude to stick your chopsticks into your food.

Her story tells us what we should do when we have frustration. In our life, there must be many problems, for example, you fail the exam or you have too much work to do sometimes. Then don?t complain to everyone. Education is an

7. Physical appearance

There is a photo of my two friends. As you can see. They are twins and they look very similar. They both have a pair of bright eyes and are the same in the height, but the sister has long straight hair and she is thin. The little sister has short curly hair and she is a little fatter than her sister. But they are both very beautiful.

8. The weather

Food is different in many countries.Food is also a kind of interesting culture.

For example,you can taste the Chinese dumplings,American

fast food and even the delicious cheese from France.Also,it's important to remember the rules while eating.In European countries, It is never allowed to speak loudly, but it's

quite common in china. If there is a restaurant that isn?t

any noise, people will think it strange. Also, in Brazil, you should wipe your mouth with the napkin after every time you eat. Another thing is that if you go to a restaurant in America, it's necessary to give tips. So, if you go to a restaurant in foreign countries, you'd better to learn the rules about food so that you can easily order food.

12. weekend activities

We work on weekdays, so we don't have time for hobbies.But

at weekends, we have much spare time that we can do what we like. Weekend activities are very colorful. We can play,learn, just as we like. They are good choices to play football, play computer and learn to draw.On weekends, I always have a good rest and read some books, I also

go out to play in the rest time.

Weekend activities can help us know more and work better on weekdays. So, it's necessary to have good weekend activities.

13. How to study English

English is more and more important in our life .So it is necessary to study English. But some students feel that English is too difficult to learn. I think when you have found useful ways, then you can learn English well.

These are my ways to learn English：

I usually learn English by listening carefully in the English classes. And I often take notes in the classes.

After schoolwork , I often read English magazines, watch English movies. I think that doing lots of listening practice is one of the secrets of becoming a good language learner.

14. About the school rules

In our school, we have many school rules. In our school, we should wear uniforms every day. The problem is that all my friends think the uniforms are ugly. We think young people should look smart and so we would like to wear our own clothes. If we can?t do that, we should be allowed to design our own uniforms. We aren?t supposed to have a special hairstyle,and we shouldn?t go out of the shoolyard without being allowed.

And it?s also a good idea for school to allow teenagers to study in groups during the evening, because we can learn a

lot from others.

Well, these are my idea about some of our school rules.

15．volunteering

When I was young , I heard that the park where was near my home was finding volunteers . My teacher usually teached us that we shoud love environment because there is only one earth , so I

joined in the volunteers . I picked up the rubbrish with my friends . Sometimes we watered flowers and trees. Though we were all tired,we were very happy, because we had a good experience.

There are many inventions in the world. Most of them are very useful . And the most useful invention is” bulb”Bulbs give the light to the people. And many many yeas ago , Cailun invented the paper and it is used by many people now , he is one of the most famous inventors in the China and. And now scientists are trying to invent more inventions . They want to make our life easier. I believe there will be more and more useful inventions in the future.

17. ：Order food

When we feel hungry ,we can come to the restaurants to order food.

We also can order the food we like on the phone.

The food ordered depends on restaurants ,I order different food in different restaurants .In the traditional China restaurant I always order a bowl of soup .Then I order some vegetables ,such as tomatoes ,potoes......I also order some meat and other food that I like.In KFC I always order a cup of cola ,a humburger and some French Fries.

18. ：Weekend activities

On weekends,I always get up early in the morning .After I have the quick breakfast.I go to English classes.I am interested in English.And after that ,I have to do my homework and read books. In the afternoon,I usually pLay basketball or football with my firends.Because I like playing them very much! Sometimes I can visit my grandmother and have dinner in her house.In the evening,I often teach myself for next day's lessons and practice speaking Endlish with my parents,we also feel happy and I had a great time on weekend.

19. Talk about fun places

There are many interesting places in QingDao. Such as Mount Lao, Undersea World and some other places. Visiting these places can make me relaxed and makes me happy. I think Undersea World is the most interesting place I have ever been to, there are many kinds of fishes and ocean lives. The most amazing atrraction is a man dancing with a shark!! I meet my favorate animal----dolphins there! They are really cute. I love this place!!

20. Talk about your hometown

My hometown is QingDao, She has a long history. Red tiles and green trees, bluish sea and blue sky. In the evening, the

beach is the good place to have fun. Sit down near the sea, enjoying the sea wind, drinking Qingdao beer and eating the delicious seafood and the roasted meat, It is really the enjoyment of people in Qingdao.

There are also many national activities in Qingdao.Both the International Beer Festival and the International Ocean Festival have atrracted many foreigners to Qingdao. I love my hometown!!!

21. Talk about jobs

There are more and more jobs today. Most people have jobs. They go to work nearly every day. Some people are lucky.

Either they have interesting jobs or they earn a lot of money. Most people are not so lucky. Either their jobs are not very interesting or they don?t earn a lot of money.

The most interesting jobs are often the most difficult. People spend a lot of time learning how to do them. For example, doctors study for at least six years after finishing school. Airline pilots study longer.

Some young people have interesting and well-paid jobs. Many successful athletes are young .But most people work until

they are 60 or 65 years old. Then they retire and have a lot

of spare time. Some people never retire though. These people usually have interesting jobs. Writers, artists, musicians

and actors usually work until they die. Their work is their life.

22. Everyday study

Now, I?m in Grade 9.I will graduate soon. So I?m really busy these days. I have to go to school before 7 o?clock. And we have many subjects to study at school. For example Chinese, math, English, physics, chemistry and politics… at the Chinese class, the teacher read many nice articles for us to improve our Chinese. In the math class, the teacher tells us how to solve the problems. In the English class, the teacher ask us to talk about the topic to improve our spoken

English .when we get tired, we will have a P.E. class. We can relax ourselves at the P.E class. These days, we are busy but happy.

23.PAST EVENTS (HOLIDAYS, VACATIONS)

Everyone maybe had a great time about something or having a great time in places where we have been to .A good vacation made us happy and relaxed .Also it was good for our health. I had a comfortable vacation last summer.

I went to the countryside that was not far from our city with a river .To be honest ,I prefer to go to the countryside rather than go to somewhere of interest. On the one hand the air was so fresh there and the people there were so friendly. On the other hand they were uncrowded , quiet and I could swim, fish and so on. I really enjoyed it.

24.Likes and Dislikes

Everyone has different likes and dislikes. For example ,a friend of mine likes playing basketball and dislikes playing football. But another friend of mine likes skating and playing computer games.

I like music, extremely the pop music ,because it makes me excited energetic and confident And I dislike gentle music because it is too quiet. I also like sports, extremely football. Because I can run and run and it makes me excited and healthy .This is my likes and dislikes.
