e.g. I am a solitary person - 我是独身主义者. I am isolated - 我被隔离. I am lonely - 我很孤独. I am alone - 我是独身./ 只有我一个人. It's my solo action - 这是我的个人行为. 其中表示孤独的只有solitary和lonely.不过 solitary作为形容词只能修饰名词,没有I am solitary的说法.
There + be + nothing for it but … can be used before a noun clause to emphasize that this is the only possible choice or course of action.
