4.1.1 Discharge Characteristics (Room Temperature) 常温放电性能

Test Method: At standard atmospheric pressure, ambient temperature 25℃±5℃, relative humidity 45%~80%(The following if no specific instructions are all in these conditions, according to this charging ways), after 0.5 C5A standard charged, rest for 15min and then discharge at 0.2C5A, 0.5C5A, 1C5A and 2C5A to the discharge cut-off voltage 2.75V respectively. Charge/discharge cycle can be conducted for 3 times before meeting the Standards(the same below).

4.1.2 Normal Storage常温荷电保持能力

Test Method: Tested the initial condition and initial capacity of battery. Store for 28 days after standard charged, tested the final condition of battery. Then discharge at 0.5C5A to the discharge cut-off voltage 2.75V, tested the residual capacity of battery. 0.5C5A /0.5 C5A tested the recovery capacity of battery.Charge/discharge cycle can be conducted for

3 times before meeting the Standards.

Test Method: Measured the initial condition and initial capacity of battery. Then conduct 0.5C5A/1C5A 150th cycle measured the final condition of battery. Or conduct 0.5C5A/0.5C5A 150th cycle measured the final condition of battery.

测试方法:测量电池的初始状态和初始容量,进行0.5C/1C循环,150次后测量电池的最终状态;或0.5C/0.5C 循环300次后测量电池的最终状态。

4.1.4 Long Time Storage贮存性能

Test Method: Charged to the voltage of 3.80±0.02V, before storage, measured the initial condition and initial capacity of battery. Store for 3 months, 6 months, 12 months at room temperature, measured the final condition of battery. Then conduct 0.5 C5A /0.2 C5A cycle for 3 times to record the discharge time of the battery.

测试方法:测量电池的初始容量,电池充电至3.80±0.02V后,测量电池存储前的初始状态,分别室温贮存3个月、6个月、12个月后,测量电池的最终状态,然后以0.5C/0.2C循环3次记录电池的放电时间。

4.2 Safety Performance安全性能

4.2.1 Overcharge过充性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Charge at 1 C5A to 10V, then change to charge with constant voltage till the current less than or equal to 0.01 C5A. Observe the variation of the bat tery’s appearance and temperature.

测试方法:电池标准充电后,测量电池的初始状态, 保证电池状态正常(下同),以1 C5A电流充电至4.8V,然后转恒压充电至截至电流0.01C5A时终止, 观察电池的温度及外观变化。

Standard:No fire, No explosion, Maximum temperature <130℃

标准:不爆炸、不起火、最高温度<130℃

4.2.2 Over Discharge过放性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Discharge at 0.5C5A to 2.75V and then connect the positive and negative terminals with a resistor of 10Ω for 14h. Observe the variation of the battery’s appearance and temperature.

测试方法:电池标准充电后,测量电池的初始容量,测量电池初始状态,以1C5A进行放电至2.75V,然后用10Ω的电阻将电池正负极相连,搁置14天。测量电池的最终状态。

4.2.3 Short Circuit at Room Temperature常温短路性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Keep the battery into a ventilation cabinet and short-circuit the positive and negative terminals directly (general resi stance shall be less than or equal to 50mΩ). Stop the test when the temperature falls to

10 ℃lower than the peak value. Observe the variation of the battery’s appearance and temperature.

测试方法:电池标准充电后,测量电池的初始状态,置于防爆玻璃罩中直接短路其正负极(线路总电阻不大于50mΩ),当电池温度下降到比峰值约低10 ℃时试验结束。观察电池的温度及外观变化。

4.2.4 Impact test重物冲击性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Placed the battery in a plane, and connected with the thermocouple. Take a diameter of 15.8 mm steel column(10kg) in the 610 mm height and middle of battery. Let it freedom to impact the battery. Observe the variation of the battery’s appearance and temperature.

测试方法:电池标准充电后,测量电池的初始状态,放在平面上,并与热电偶相连,将一直径为15.8mm的棒放在电池高度方向中间位置,让重量9.1kg的重物从610mm高度自由垂落至冲击台面,观察电池外观及温度变化。

4.2.5 Crush挤压安全性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Placed the battery in two iron plane moulds, and connected with the thermocouple. With the most strongly 13 KN pressure for the moment compression. Observe the variation of the battery’s appearance and temperature.

测试方法:测量电池的初始状态,电池标准充电后,与热电偶相连,放置于两铁制平面模具中,用13KN的最大力压力进行瞬间压缩,观察电池的温度及外观变化。

Standard:No fire, No explosion, Maximum temperature <130℃

标准:不起火、不爆炸、最高温度<130℃。

4.2.6 Hot Oven热冲击安全性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Keep the battery connected with a thermocouple and put it into a gravity convection or circulating air oven. Temperature is raised at a rate of 5 ℃±2 ℃ per minute to a temperature of 130 ℃±2 ℃ and remained for 30min at this temperature. Observe the variation of the battery’s appearance.

测试方法:测量电池的初始状态,电池标准充电后,放置于热箱中,并与热电偶相连,温度以(5 ℃±2 ℃)/min 的速率升至130 ℃±2 ℃并保温10Min。观察电池外观变化.。

4.3 Safety Performance环境适应性能

4.3.1 Heat Cycle Properties热循环性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Put the battery into a 75℃±2℃ for 48h, then put it into a -20℃ for 6h, and then store it for 24h at room temperature. Observe the variation of the battery’s appearance.

测试方法:电池标准充电后,在环境温度为75±2℃的条件下开路放置48h,后在-20 ℃条件下开路放置6h,后在室温条件下开路放置24h, 观察电池外观变化。

Standard:No smoking \ fire \ explosion

标准:电池不冒烟、不起火、不爆炸。

4.3.2 Static Humidity恒定湿热性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Put the battery into a 40℃±5℃ and 95%RH chamber for 168h, then get it out and

store it for 2h at room temperature. Observe the variation of the battery’s appearance and then discharge at 1C5A to the cut-off voltage.

测试方法:电池标准充电后,置于温度为40±5℃,相对湿度为95%的恒温恒湿箱中,搁置168h后,取出电池搁置2h,以1C5A放电至2.75V。

Standard:After shelve, Discharge capacity / Nominal capacity *100%>60%

No remarkable deformation \ corrosion \ smoking \ leakage \ explosion

4.3.3 Drop跌落性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Then let it self fall off from a height of 1m(the lowest height) to a smooth hardwood with the thick of 20mm. The drop is implemented totally for 3times. Discharge at 1C5A to the cut-off voltage, then test the discharge time of the battery.

测试方法:电池标准充电后,测量电池的初始状态,将电池样品由高度(最低点高度)为1.0m的位置从XYZ 正负六个方向自由跌落到20mm厚木板上。跌落完成后测量电池的最终状态,然后以1C5A放电至2.75V,测量电池的放电时间。

Standard:No smoking\ fire \ explosion

Discharge Time≥51min

标准:电池不冒烟、不起火、不爆炸;

放电时间不少于51min。

4.3.4 Discharge Characteristics under Different Temperature不同温度下的放电性能

Test Method: Tested the initial condition and initial capacity of battery. Standard charge. Put the battery into a 60℃±2℃ for 3h, discharge at 0.5C5A to the cut-off voltage 2.75V, then standard charge at room temperature. In turn put the battery into 0℃±2℃ / -10℃±2℃ / -20℃±2℃ for 20h, discharge at 0.5C5A to the cut-off voltage, then test the final capa city of the battery, and then store it for 2h at room temperature. Observe the variation of the battery’s appearance.

测试方法:测量电池的初始容量和初始状态,电池标准充电后,在60±2℃条件下恒温搁置3h、以0.5C5A放电至2.75V,然后在室温条件下标准充电,依此按照0±2 ℃/-10±2 ℃/-20±2 ℃的顺序在相应的恒温条件下搁置20h,以0.5C5A测量电池对应的终止容量,最后在室温状态下搁置2h测量电池的最终状态,观察电池外观变化。

4.3.5 Vibration振动环境适应性能

Test Method: Standard charge. Equip it to the vibration platform, adjust and prepare the test equipment according to following vibration frequency and relevant swing, doing frequency sweeping from X, Y, Z three directions, each from 10Hz to 55Hz for 30 minutes of recycling, rating of which is 1oct/min:

A)vibration frequency:10Hz~30Hz

Displacement breadth (single swing): 0.38mm

B) vibration frequency: 30Hz~55Hz

Displacement breadth(single swing): 0.19mm。

Measured the final condition of battery after sweep, and observe the variation of the battery’s appearance

测试方法:电池标准充电后,测量电池初始状态,安装在振动台面上,按下面的振动频率和对应的振幅调整好试验设备,X、Y、Z三个方向每个方向上从10Hz~55Hz循环扫频振动30min,扫频速率为1oct/min:

?Do not use or leave the battery at high temperature (for example, at strong direct sunlight or in a vehicle in extremely hot weather). Otherwise, it can overheat or fire or its performance will be degenerate and its service life will be decreased.

?Do not use the battery in a location where static electricity and magnetic field is great, otherwise, the safety devices may be damaged, causing hidden trouble of safety.

?If the battery leaks, and the electrolyte get into the eyes, do not rub the eyes, instead, rinse the eyes with clean water, and immediately seek medical attention. Otherwise, it may injure eyes.
