At first, I will give an overview [???v??vju:] of Hubei. Hubei province, with a population of 60 million, is located [l???ke?t?d] in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river, and to the north of dongting lake, with Wuhan as the provincial [pr??v?n??l] capital[ ?k?pitl], and Qichun as my birthplace. Hubei covers an area of over 180,000 square kilometers with over 12 prefecture [?pri:fekt?u?] -level city, and 102 counties. It is well known as “a thoroughfare [?θ?:r???fe?] of 9 provinces(Chinese:九省通衢)”for i ts networks of transportation by air, water, highway and railway.
Hubei is the birthplace for Chu culture. Chu culture is a highly developed and unique [ju:?ni:k] style regional culture in south china from the eastern Zhou period to the end of the Qin dynasty [?dain?sti].it reaches a fairly high level in many aspects [??spekt] like bronze [br?nz] casting, handicraft [?h?ndi:?kr?ft] industry, porcelain [?p?:slin], music, literature [?lit?rit??] and painting, and so on.
Hubei, known as”the province with a thousand lakes”and “the land of fish and rice”, is one of the major areas in China to produce rice, cotton, oil and fish.
With its solid [?s?lid] industrial foundations, Hubei has a system of modern industry. Its main industries includes electricity, metallurgy [?metl??:d?i:], machinery,
electronic [?l?k?trɑn?k] information, and so on.The economy of Hubei province is in rapid development in recent years, and will obtain new opportunities [??p??tju:niti] in future..
Higher education level of Hubei province is in the front of whole country, the number of college students is 1.3 million, of which more than 1.05 million in wuhan.
When you come to a new city, maybe you are most concerned about the local [?l?uk?l] diet, so I focused on catering [?ke?t?r??] culture. Hubei cuisine [kw??zi:n] composed[k?m?p?uz] of three kinds of local dishes from Wuhan, Jingzhou and Huangzhou. Hot-and-dry noodles is the best choice for breakfast in Wuhan. Wuchang fish, that is produced in the vicinity [vi?siniti] of Wuchang, as early as 1,700 years ago in the Three Kingdoms period, has been well known in north-south river. Chairman Mao Zedong said, "Having had water in Changsha, now I am having fish in Wuchang". The famous poem was published, so Wuchang fish is even more famous
in world.
At last, I will give an introduction about my birthplace.
Qichun County (Chinese: 蕲春县) is a county of Huanggang, Hubei.
Qichun County is the birthplace of famous herbalist [?h?:b?l?st] Li Shizhen, who was born and lived in Qizhou town, on the southern edge of the County, alongside the Yangtze River. In turn, Qichun is a major center of the herbal industry in China.
Four local specialties [?spe??lti:] of Qichun are Ay Tsao, bamboo, turtle [?t?:tl] and snake, and they are called The four treasures in Qichun. They have good medicinal [m??d?s?n?l] value in traditional Chinese medicine.

Today i want to introduce you a film named___WALL-E. The story happened in a distant, but not so unrealistic future, where mankind has abandoned earth because it has become covered with trash from products sold by the powerful multi-national Buy N Large corporation. WALL-E, a garbage collecting robot has been left to clean up the mess. Mesmerized with trinkets of earth's history and show tunes, (2 WALL-E is alone on Earth except for a sprightly pet cockroach. One day, Eve, a sleek (and dangerous re-connaissance robot, is sent to earth to find proof that life is once again sustainable. WALL-E falls in love with Eve. WALL-E rescues Eve from a dust storm and shows her a living plant he found amongst the rubble. Consistent with her "directive" Eve takes the plant and automatically enters a deactivated state except for a blinking green beacon. WALL-E, doesn't understand what has happened to his new friend, but true to his love, he protects her from wind, rain, and lightening, even as she is unresponsive. One day a massive ship comes to reclaim Eve, but WALL-E, out of love or loneliness hitches a ride on the outside of the ship to rescue Eve. The ship arrives back at a large space cruise ship, which is carrying all of the humans who evacuated earth 700 years earlier. The people of earth ride around this space resort on hovering chairs which give them a constant feed of TV and video chatting. They drink all of their meals through a straw out of laziness and/or bone loss, and are all so fat that they can barely move. When the auto-pilot computer , acting on hastily given instructions sent many centuries before, tries to prevent the people of earth from returning, by stealing the plant, WALL-E, Eve, the portly captain, and a band of broken robots stage a mutiny.

On behalf of Grant Telecommunications, I’d like to welcome you. My name is Joseph Green. Today I’d like to give you a product presentation for the new XT 3000 mobile phone. My presentation is divided into three parts. First, I’ll explain the features of the new phone. Then, I’ll talk about how the phone compares with others on the market. And lastly, I will highlight the USPs of the new product. Right, let’s start with the features first. The new XT 3000 is great and it has some excellent new features. These include voice-activated dialing. What this means is that you can say the name of the person you would like to call into the phone and it will automatically find the person’s number and dial. Another fantastic feature is the 100 mega pixel camera—you won’t miss another precious moment. When compared to other products, the XT 3000 comes out on top. I will run through some comparisons against the following three products: HR 500, Elektra v1.2 and SP 989. The HR 500 doesn’t have such an excellent 100 mega pixel camera. The Elektra v1.2, which is a similar price to the XT 3000, does not have the voice-activated dialing facility. And the SP 989, which has all the same features as the XT 3000, is much more expensive than the XT 3000. This brings me to the final part of my presentation. I would like to briefly highlight the USPs (Unique Selling Points) of the XT 3000. Firstly, it is very competitively priced. It also has the most features of any phone on the market at this price. Additionally, customers are able to buy the different parts of the phone in different colours, which enables them to customise their phone to the look they want.
