Starting a new school term is always exciting. It is a chance to see your friends again. But most exciting of all, the new term is a chance to take up new hobbies. Every day, in all kinds of weather, thousands of men and women jog. Why has jogging-running slowly for long distances become so popular? Most joggers begin because they hear it is a very good exercise. Jogging makes the heart stronger and helps people lose weight. It can also help them feel better about themselves.

It was never a usual day for Tim.
