第一部分大纲说明

一、课程的性质、目的及任务

大学英语是高等教育的一个有机组成部分,《大学英语》课程是我院学生的必修课。大学英语是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。

大学英语的教学目的是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。

本课程的任务是让学生在大学一年级第二学期内,修完《大学英语》(全新版)第二册的全部内容,从而在词汇以及听、说、读、写、译等六个方面达到本大纲的要求。

二、课程的基本要求

1、推荐词汇量:掌握的词汇量应达到3,300个单词,其中2,000个单词为积极词汇,即

要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用,包括口头和书面表达两个方面。

2、听力理解能力:能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座,能基本听懂英语节目,语

速为每分钟130词左右;

3、口语表达能力:能在学习过程中用英语交流,能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发

言,语音、语调基本正确,并能就日常话题和英语国家人士进行交谈。

4、阅读理解能力:能基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章,阅读速度达到每分钟70词。在

快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时,阅读速度达到每分钟100词。能读懂工作、生活中常见的应用文体的材料。能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。

5、书面表达能力:能完成一般性写作任务,能描述个人经历、观感、情感和发生的事

件等,能写常见的应用文,能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出120词的短文,内容基本完整,用词恰当,语意连贯。能掌握基本的写作技能。

6、翻译能力:能借助词典对题材熟悉的文章进行英汉互译,英汉译速为每小时290英

语单词,汉英译速为每小时240个汉字。译文基本流畅,能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。

三、本课程与相关课程的联系:

本课程的前续课程是《大学英语》A。要求学生在学习该课程前系统地修完《大学英语》A,掌握了大约2600个左右的英语基本词汇及相应的语法知识。

本课程的后继课程为《大学英语》C。

四、学时分配

本课程学分为4学分,建议开设64学时(在保证学分的前提下可以微调)。

六、教学方法与手段

大学英语教学要注重培养学生听、说、读、写等综合能力。因此, 要采用多种教学方法和手段, 如多媒体, 语音室, 录音机, 同时积极组织学生参加英语演讲, 竞赛等形式多样的课外活动, 提高他们学习英语的兴趣和主动性、积极性,创造出良好的英语学习氛围和环境。

七、课程考核方式

本课程期末考试采用闭卷形式,全院统考。成绩评定采用平时成绩考核和期末考试成绩相结合的方式。平时成绩占30%,期末考试占70%,平时成绩由课堂出勤率、课堂讨论发言、平时作业等要素组成。

《大学英语》课程教学大纲 COLLEGE ENGLISH 执笔者:吴勇 审核人:易强 编写日期:2017年10月 二、课程简述 《大学英语》课程是我校非英语专业本科基础阶段的公共基础课,旨在提高学生的英语综合能力和素质,安排在第一、二学年的四个学期开设。根据我校实际情况,《大学英语》课程实行分级教学,第一学期修读《大学英语1》,第二学期修读《大学英语2》,第三学期修读《大学英语(跨文化交际英语)》,第四学期修读《大学英语(学术英语)》。大学英语课程每学期48学时,3学分,两学期合计96学时,6学分,四学期合计192学时,12学分。本课程根据教育部制订的《大学英语教学指南》(2014)及我校人才培养定位实

综合英语 1 Comprehensive English1 【学分】4 【学时】64 【编写】袁邦照【审核】程莹 (一)授课对象 四年制本科英语专业学生 (二)课程的性质和地位 本课程是是本科英语专业低年级的一门学科基础课程,是英语专业基础阶段全面培养和提高学生语言能力和交际能力的一门课程,在整个基础英语教学中具有重要奠基作用。本课程的教学,是在学生已初步掌握一定的英语词汇、语音、语法基本知识和听、说、读、写基本技能的基础上进行的,因此,主要教学目的在于进一步提高学生综合运用英语的能力,特别是要加强口笔头语言表达能力,同时加深对词汇、语法、写作、修辞等方面的知识,同时指导学生学习方法,培养逻辑思维能力,为进一步接受英语专业高年级教育打下全面的牢固的基础。本课程以课文教学为中心,采用精讲多练、讲练结合的方式,主要通过语言基础训练与篇章讲解分析,启发学生学习语言的积极性和自觉性,使学生逐步提高语篇阅读理解能力,了解英语各种文体的表达方式和特点,扩大词汇量和熟悉英语常用句型,具备基本的口头与笔头表达能力,并逐步形成用英语思维的能力。 (三)课程教学的目标 1.改变观念:帮助学生尽快熟悉大学学习环境和自主学习方法;使学生养成良好的学习习惯;培养学生的独立工作能力。引导学生改变应试学习的观点,逐步树立“To know English is to speak English.”的观念。 2.语音:通过一对一纠音练习,语音模仿秀等,整顿学生的语音面貌,提高学生的朗读技巧。 3.词汇和语法:盘活中学所学语法和词汇,使之成为语言交际的实际技能。认知词汇3000-4000个(其中含中学已学2 000个),熟用其中1600-1800个及其最基本的搭配。听力:能在15分钟听写根据已学知识编写的材料(词数120左右,念四遍,第一、四遍语速为每分钟100个词,第二、三遍根据意群停顿),错误率不超过8%。要求学生每天收听CRI及VOA的Special English。熟悉新闻广播的特点和语速。 4.口语:能使用课文中的重点词汇和短语复述课文;能用英语正确表达所学的功能意念,以达到实际交流运用的目的。 5.阅读和写作:能读懂词汇量为2000-2500的浅易材料及简易读物,阅读速度每分钟60-80个词,理解基本正确,能抓住中心大意。对重点句子能够释义。学会初步使用“英英”
