School life is very busy. Teenagers are looking forward to the coming weekends. So am I. Now I’d like to tell you something about my weekend.
I had a pleasant weekend last week. On Saturday morning, I got up late and had breakfast slowly. After breakfast, I went to the park with my father to play sports. Everyone knows that doing sports is good for our health, Then I began to do my homework. It was a little difficult.. So it took me about two hours to finish it. On Saturday afternoon, I had fun playing computer games. While my mother was cooking dinner, I cleaned the living-room and did some washing.
On Sunday morning, I played basketball with my classmates till half past eleven. On Sunday afternoon, my family went to the beach and enjoyed the bright sunshine. Next I listened to pop music. It made me relaxed.

I have a good friend called Lucy at school. She is good at English and always gets good grades in the exams. But she is weak in math and she is very worried about it. I am good at math but I can't do well in English. So we often help other with our study.
With the help of Lucy, I have made great progress in English and Lucy’s math has been improved, too.

How can we keep healthy?
It is very important for everyone to keep healthy, especially for us student. How can we keep healthy? Here is some advice.
We can’t eat too much rich food, like meat. We should try to eat more fruit and vegetables. It is good for us to drink milk before bedtime. As for junk food, don’t eat it too much, because it is bad for us. Besides, it is important for us to do more exercise. It can give us enough energy to study, it can also help us to sleep well, and enough sleep is very necessary, too. We can't stay up too late at night.

Travel
Travel is useful to us in at least three ways.
First, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of different places by traveling. We can see many places which can be read about only in books with our own eyes, and visit some famous cities and scenic sports.
Secord, we will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. We can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different food and local favors if we like. In this way, we can understand how different people live.
Third, traveling will not only help us to get knowledge of geography, history and other knowledge, it also helps us keep healthy and makes us broad-minded.
With all these advantages, it's no wonder that travel is now becoming much popular than before.
Lower Carbon, Happier life
“What a dry and hot day it is! I really can't stand it.”Wherever you go in Yunnan, you can hear the words. No matter it’s in 2010, 2011, or 2012. It’s the most necessary time to take actions to protect our environment. As students, I think we can start with the following ways.
First, we can walk or tide our bike to school. In a word, try not to use cars. It can save energy and make the air cleaner. Second, we must save water and electricity. For example, we should turn off the lights when we don’t need them. Another way I can think up, we can give our books to the next grade students. This action can save more trees, and more trees mean everything to the people in the world. At last, try to use plastic bags as few as possible. Now the white pollution is making your world worse and worse.
