1．社区
答：社区是进行一定的社会活动、具有某种互动关系和共同文化维系力的人类群体及其活动区域。一般包括以下四层含义：①社区占有一定的地域，其形态都存在于一定的地理空间中。社区之“区”并不是纯粹的自然地理区域。从社会学的角度看，这个“区”乃指一个人文区位，是社会空间与地理空间的结合。②社区的存在离不开一定的人群。人口的数量、集散疏密程度以及人口素质等，都是考察社区人群的重要方面。③社区中共同生活的人们由于某些共同的利益，面临共同的问题，具有共同的需要而结合起来进行生产和其他活动。在这一过程中产生了某些共同的行为规范、生活方式及社区意识，构成了社区人群的文化维系力。④社区的核心内容是社区中人们的各种社会活动及其互动关系。
2．亚文化
答：亚文化是指仅为社会上一部分成员所接受的或为某一社会群体特有的文化。亚文化一般并不与主文化相抵触或对抗。亚文化也可以转变为占主导地位的主文化。亚文化的主要类型分为：①民族亚文化，是为社会中少数民族群体所特有的文化。②职业亚文化，是指为各种职业群体特有的文化。各种专业性较强的职业都有一些专门的训练，有专门的职业术语、职业道德、职业习惯等等，这样，不同职业就形成了不同的职业亚文化。③越轨亚文化，是指为一些反社会集团所特有的文化。反社会集团的行为规范往往偏离主流文化所规定的行为规范，相对于主流文化来说，反社会集团的群体规范是越轨行为。越轨亚文化反过来又成为犯罪行为产生的重要根源，犯罪团伙成员的犯罪行为虽被主流文化视为违法，但在犯罪团伙内的亚文化中却是被肯定的，受到同伙的赞扬。因此，越轨亚文化为犯罪行为提供了容易滋
生的环境。
3．安全阀（科塞）
答：安全阀是一种社会安全机制，也是科塞用以证明冲突具有正能力的有力例证。科塞发现敌对情绪和冲突是有区别的，敌对情绪不等于冲突。如果敌对情绪通过适当的途径得以发泄，就不会导致冲突，就像锅炉里过量蒸汽通过安全阀适时排除而不会导致爆炸一样，从而有利于社会结构的维持。科塞主张社会应将这种机制制度化，并成为安全阀制度。准确地说，安全阀制度就是在不毁坏结构的前提下使敌对的情绪得以释放出来以维护社会整合的制度。
4．劳动争议
答：劳动争议，是指在各种经济单位中，劳动者与管理者、产权所有者之间因劳动的问题及劳动关系的各个方面存在着矛盾，以至发生对立和冲突。按照我国劳动法及有关规定，劳动争议发生，并由当事人（双方之一）提出要求后，按照调解、仲裁、司法三程序解决。在调解之前，还可以有在企业等用人单位内部协商的内容。
5．就业政策
答：劳动就业政策是指政府或其他组织为劳动者提供就业机会、合理分配就业机会、解决失业问题和保护劳动者权利而采取的各种行动的总和。政府通过实施劳动就业政策，干预劳动力市场，以促进就业发展和保护劳动者权益。包括公平就业、就业扶助、就业服务、下岗职工再就业、农村劳动力转移有序化等内容。
6．人口迁移
答：人口迁移是指人口（个体或群体）在地理空间上的移动。人口迁移有两个要素，一个是地理距离，一个是停留或居住的时间长度。
7．贫困
答：贫困是指一种人们缺乏满足最起码的生活需求的手段的状况，又指人们缺乏达到最低生活水平的能力。关于贫困的分类，以贫困持续时间的长短变化划分可分为长期性贫困、周期性贫困和暂时性贫困；以人口分布状况划分，可分为群体贫困和个案贫困；从衡量参照系划分，可分为绝对贫困和相对贫困。
8．研究单位
答：研究单位又称分析单位，是指研究者所要调查和描述的对象，它是研究的基本单位，研究的最终目的是将这些分析单位的特征汇集起来以描述由它们组成的较大集合体或解释某种社会现象。研究单位的层次有个人、群体、组织、社区、社会产物与社会结构。研究单位是研究者所要了解的一些个案，它在很大程度上决定了抽样方案和调查方案的制订。在选择研究单位时应注意：①依照研究目的来选择研究单位。②在研究中研究单位不是一成不变的，当对某一研究单位进行调查所收集的资料不能圆满地解答所研究的问题时，就要考虑研究单位层次的调整或研究单位的增减。
9．简单实验设计
答：简单实验设计是对单项假设进行验证，即只考察一个自变量与一个因变量之间的因果关系。此外，它只分为一个实验组和一个控制组，或仅有一个实验组。简单实验设计的三
种模式：单组前后测实验设计，两组前后测实验设计以及两组无前测的实验设计。简单实验设计操作容易、简单易行，可以检验和建立明确的因果关系。但它将现实生活中错综复杂的关系简化为单一的因果关系，这就大大降低了实验结论的概括能力和外在效度。简单实验设计的另一个缺点是：它将所有的其它影响因素都作为无关变量加以控制和排除，忽视了各种因素间交互作用的效应，因而降低了实验的内在效度和降低实验的外在效度。
10．深度访谈
答：深度访谈又称作无结构访谈或者自由访谈，它与结构式访谈相反，并不依据事先设计的问卷和固定的程序，而是只有一个访谈的主题或范围，由访谈员与被访者围绕这个主题或范围进行比较自由的交谈。深度访谈适合于并主要应用于实地研究。它的主要作用在于通过深入细致的访谈，获得丰富生动的定性资料，并通过研究者主观的、洞察性的分析，从中归纳和概括出某种结论。适用于事先对调查主题知之不多，或希望深入了解调查对象的情况。
11．回归系数
答：回归方程式中回归系数值的大小，反映了自变量对因变量有多大的影响以及影响方向，即回归系数值就是当自变量增加一个单位时，因变量值的增量。回归系数值有正负之分，正值表示自变量对因变量有正向影响，即自变量增加，因变量也增加；负值则是负向影响，即自变量增加，因变量却减少。回归系数的绝对值越大，表示自变量对因变量的影响也越大，回归系数等于零则表示自变量对因变量没有影响。回归系数值的大小不限于-1至+1之间，而是取决于自变量的单位。

This finding might also help explain the obesity epidemic of a society in which people often sit. Researchers split 14 university student volunteers into three groups for a 45-minute session of either relaxing in a sitting position, reading and summarizing a text, or completing a series of memory, attention, and alert tests on the computer. After the sessions, the participants were invited to eat as much as they pleased. Though the study involved a very small number of participants, the results were stark.
