一、指导思想
激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力;培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神;帮助学生了解世界和中西方文化的差异,拓展视野,培养爱国主义精神,形成健康的人生观,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。
二、学生情况分析
五年级的大部分学生对英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣，但也有少数学生由于遇到困难，学习兴趣会随之减弱。尤其从这学期开始，对学生又提出了新的要求：培养听、说、读、写的技能。所以教师应该面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，培养学生良好的学习习惯。
三、教材分析
本学期使用教材是《九年义务教育六年制小学教科书英语（第五册）》（PEP PRIMARY ENGLISH STUDENTS’BOOK 5）,本册教材分为六个单元，两个复习单元。本册教材强调语言的运用，注重能力的培养，突出了兴趣的激发，重视双向交流，融合学科内容，重视灵活扩展，实现整体设计。
本册的重点：能够就作息时间、周末活动、季节、生日、动物、野外活动等话题展开简短对话，并完成相应的任务。
本册的难点：能运用所学语言进行真实交际；能掌握重
点单词的读音及部分
单词和句子的书写。
本册要运用的教辅资料有课文磁带、单词卡、教师卡片及幻灯片。
四、全期教学总目标
1．能听、说、读、写81个短语和单词以及16组句子和
11个单句，要求能在真实语境中正确运用，并能读懂简短语篇。
2．能听、说、认读21个单词。
3．能学会4个手工制作。
4．能听懂跟唱8首歌曲。
5．能听懂、会吟唱10首歌谣。
6．能完成6个自我评价活动。
7．能理解6个幽默小故事。
8．能了解6项简单的中西方文化生活知识。
五、教学措施
1、兼收并蓄、集各家所长，采用综合的教学路子。情景法、视听法、直接法、结构法、功能法（交际法）、全身反应法、沉浸法、折衷法、综合法等，只要有助于教学目标都可以采纳。
2.创设情景、相互交流、激励情意，启发学习动机，树立学习信心。充分利用教科书中的课文创设栩栩如生的情景，如打电话、购物、生日聚会、野餐、旅游、问路、看病等，为学生提供使用英语进行交流的机会。
3.练习形式多种多样，手、脑、口、耳、眼、肢、体并用，静态、动态结合，基本功操练与自由练习结合，单项和综合练习结合。通过大量地实践，使学生具有良好地语音、语调、书写和拼读地基础，并能用英语表情达意，开展简单的交流活动。
4.设计任务型活动（task-based activities）,开放空间，激活学生的思维，培养创造思维。这类活动，可以自始至终引导学生通过完成具体任务活动来学习语言，让学生为了特定
的学习目的去进行特定的语言活动，通过完成特定的交际任务来获得和积累相应的学习经验。
六、评价工作安排
1、以形成性评价为主，学生参与英语教学活动所表现的
兴趣、态度的交流能力为主要依据。
2、期末或学年评价基本采用口笔试结合的方式。
3、加强学生自我评价。鼓励学生、教师、家长共同参与
评价，实现评价主体多样化。
4、评价方法灵活多样，根据不同学生选择适合的评价
时间和评价方法。
七、教研专题及研究措施教研专题：
专题：如何在教学过程中发挥学生的自主性。
研究措施：1、课前指导预习；2、创设情境激发自主性
学习的动机；3、以学生为主体、以任务为途径，在实践中
培养学生自主学习的能力；4、关注过程评价，为自主学习
和发展注入持久动力。
