1.语音(Phonetics)

本课主要学习短音u,同时复习短音a, e, i和o,5个元音字母

的短音在本课实行总结。通过学习,学生要能够掌握短音u,并能够拼读含有这些音的单词。同时本课还学习字母c和字母组合ck的读音,

字母c和字母k在单词中的读音相同,都读作k,学生要能够拼读含有字母c和字母组合ck的单词。

2.词汇(Words)

本课共有7个单词,这些单词都要求四会,即会听、会说、会读、会写。其中duck,run,cup,bus等4个单词含有短音u,体现出语音和

词汇的有机结合;cat,can含有短音a,swim含有短音i,体现出新旧

知识的结合,学习新知识,复习旧知识。duck, cup, cat, can分别含有字母c和字母组合ck,着重练习本课新学的辅音音素。

3.语言结构(Structure)

本课学习情态动词can的用法,学习其肯定句、一般疑问句及其

肯定回答。通过学习,学生要能够理解和掌握can用来表示水平的用法,能够使用这个用法表达“我能做什么”。

三、教学建议(Suggested teaching methods)

建议本课内容按如下步骤实行教学:

1.复习(Revision)

(1) 复习b, p, m, f, d, t, n, l, g, k, h, r, s, z, w, v, y, x等18个辅音音素。教师出示卡片,学生朗读。

(2) 复习短音a, e, i和o,教师出示单词,学生实行分解拼读,并说出汉语词义。

下列单词供参考:

e desk yes egg

i it fish pig

o box dog frog

(3) 复习It’s not ....句型,教师用实物或图片与学生实行问答,模式如下:

___Yes, it’s a dog. It’s not a fox.

2. 学习Let’s talk

(1) 教师能够用简笔画实行导入。先在黑板上画一幅简笔画:一

只拟人猫指着河边走路的一只小鸭子问拟人狗。教师分别充当两种动

物以自问自答的方式将对话展示出来:

Cat: Is it a duck?

Dog: Yes, it is.

Cat: Can it swim?

Dog: Yes, it can.

(2) 教师在简笔画下面给出关键词,让学生看着简笔画和关键词

跟录音读,或教师逐句读,并译成汉语。

(3) 学生实行操练,能够将学生分成两组,一组充当猫,一组充

当狗,先集体说后个人说。熟练后,再实行两人一组的练习。

(4) 让学生两人一组看着简笔画和关键词复述对话,能够做到不

看提示更好。

3. 学习Let’s listen and le arn

(1) 用几分钟时间学习本课的Free talk,方法同前。

(2) 教师板书字母u(用红色粉笔),教读短音/V/,后舌抬高,双

唇收圆,牙床半合,喉肌肉松弛。教师示范口型和发音方法,学生模仿,不多强调发音部位和方法。

(3) 教师竖排再写5个u,边写边领读,直到学生熟练掌握。

(4) 在第一个红色的字母u前加字母r,后加字母n,教师示范分

解式拼读r-u-n,再读出整个单词run,然后领读三遍run, run, run,前两遍用升调读,后一遍用降调,注意韵律,之后学生练习三遍连读,直到熟练。教师在单词旁边画简笔画:一个人在奔跑,讲解 run的汉

语意思,并实行动作表演。然后领学生边做动作边三遍连读单词。

(5) 用上述同样的方法学习单词bus, but, cup和duck,不能用图画表示词义的直接写汉字。字母c和字母组合ck是首次出现,教师讲解其发音与字母k读音相同。

(6) 复习短音a, e, i,用上述同样的方法学习cat, can, swim 等单词。

(7) 打开课本,看图跟读Let’s listen and learn中的单词,能够采用三遍连读的方法。能够实行动作表演的要实行动作表演,如duck, run, cat, swim等。

4.学习Let’s practise

(1) 复习Let’s listen and learn中的单词,让学生更牢固掌握闭音节的读音规律,能够独立拼读含有u短音的单词,尤其是Let’s practise中的单词。

(2) 教师在黑板上画出一辆行驶中的公共汽车,并以第一人称的口气介绍说I抦 a bus. I can run.写出这个幅图中的句子,让学生朗读。

(3) 让学生打开课本,用书中提供的情景操练对话内容,先集体后个人。能够让学生把英语翻译成汉语。

(5) 用同样的方法学下一个情景的对话,使用实物或图片及本课所学结构创作新对话。

5.学习Let’s sing

本课歌曲“The duck can run”紧扣本课的语音知识,做到学什

么唱什么,唱会了这首歌,也就自然地记住了这些单词。教唱时可先

让学生听一两遍,然后逐句跟唱,再连起来,直至把歌学会。教和学

的方法具体可参考第一课中的详细步骤,唱会后能够让学生边演唱边

表演。形式能够多种多样,采用全班齐唱,男女对唱,组组对唱,师

生对唱的形式均可。

6.学习Let’s act

本课的演一演是对前几课的一个复习巩固,文中出现了大量含有a, e, i, o, u短音的单词,如am, fox, bad, hut, chick, tap, let, yes, can, him, dog, hen等。本课讲的是狡猾的狐狸装成母鸡想骗小鸡,结果聪明的鸭子装成小狗吓跑了狐狸的故事。

教师在上课前,布置几名学生预备各种动物的头饰或其他道具,

以备课上表演时使用。

本课内容能够分为两部分实行学习和操练,最后再合起来一起表演。第一部分是前三个画面,第二部分是后三个画面。

Let’s act的学习按听音导入、操练和表演三个步骤实行:

(1) 听音导入

先听一两遍第一部分的录音。教师能够充当狐狸和小鸡的角色实

行表演,将前三个画面的内容展示给学生。

(2) 操练

A.学生齐说:教师说一句学生跟说一句,或者教师放录音,学生

逐句跟说,再连起来说。特别注意文中出现的生词,如hut, chick, tap, who, grandma等,要领学生多读几遍,除了who, grandma外,

其他单词都是闭音节词,要引导学生独立拼读。

B.分角色说:将学生按三人一组实行分组,分别担任小动物Chick, Duck和Fox,先集体说(如扮演Fox的同学一齐说狐狸的台词),再个

人说,注意交换角色,让学生充分熟悉该短剧的内容。

其中O h,it’s a hut. Who is it? I’m Grandma. We can’t

let him in. 这几句话的意思要重点给学生说一下,协助学生理解短

剧内容。

对于文章中标注汉语的单词,只要会读、知道汉语意思即可,不

要求掌握。

(3) 表演

A.学生集体复述:两部分都操练后,让学生整体连起来复述几遍,熟悉内容增强自信心。

B.学生分组表演:按照学生的分组情况实行表演,鼓励学生发挥

自己的想像力,带上自己准备的道具实行表演。该步骤可在本节课实行,也能够在第二节课上课之前实行。

7.巩固(Consolidation)

做练习册中的练习。
