英语音标知识大全 1.什么是英语音标 什么是音标？音标就是记录音素的符号，是音素的标写符号。它的制定原则是:一个音素只用一个音标表示，一个音标只表示一个音素。如汉语拼音字母、英语的韦氏音标和国际音标等。狭义上的”音标“意思就是指英语音标。 2.什么是国际音标 国际音标是英法两国学者创定的，主要适用于表注印欧语言、非洲语言和一些少数民族语言。它发表后，在欧洲语言学界比较流行。美 国人多数仍用他们自己研究美洲印地安语的符号。 国际音标International Phonetic Alphabet，原义是“国际语音字母”简称IPA，由国际语音协会制定。 1888年，由英国的H~斯维斯特倡议，由法国的P~帕西和英国的D~琼斯等人完成，发表在《语音教师》上（“国际语音协会”前身“语音教师协会”的会刊），这是历史上第一个国际音标表。后经多次修订，现通行的是1979年修订的方案。 3.什么是严式标音和宽式标音 严式标音和宽式标音的区别 用音标标记语音的方法叫标音法。一般分为严式标音法和宽式标音法两种。 要记录一种语音，最初的方法应当是严式标音。 所谓宽式标音，是在严式标音的基础上，整理处一种语音的音位系统，然后按音位来标记语音，也就是只记音位，不记音位变体及其它 非本质的伴随现象。因此，宽式标音又称为“音位标音”。例如，现代汉语中，舌面低元 音有[ε]、[A]、[a]、[ɑ ]等多个，用宽式标音只用/a/就可以了。用宽式标音，可以把音标数目限制在有限范围之内，因而能把一种语言或方言的音系反映得简明清晰。 所谓严式标音，就是出现什么音素就记录什么音素，有什么伴随现象就记录什么伴随现象。无论什么音素和什么伴随现象都不放过，也 就是最忠实、最细致的记录语音的原貌。所以，严式标音又称为“音素标音”。例如，现 代汉语中，较低的舌面元音可归纳为一个音位/a/，若用严式标音，则必须分别标为[ε]、[A]、[a]、[ɑ]、[?]、[?]等。它的特点就是，
