一、当代大学生就业观的“两大转变”

1.择业从“等待分配”到“自主选择”。紧随时代的变迁,大学生的就业观经历了从“等待分配”到“自主选择”的纵向转变。等待就业是在计划经济体制改革的时代背景下出现的一种“消极”的就业观念。国家提供各种相关的优惠政策,为顺利毕业的大学生提供各种优厚的待遇,安排恰当的工作。大学生也普遍认为,只要通过十几年的寒窗苦读,考上了大学,就等于“端到了铁饭碗”,就能够有个较稳定的工作,受到政府政策的照顾,不用为找不到工作而发愁。由此当时的大学生大多安于现状,等待着国家政府安排就业。这在一定程度上解决了当时学生的就业压力,促进了当时中国社会经济的发展,但当时的大学生缺乏就业压力感,挫伤了就业的积极性。

改革开放以来,中国实施各种政策,以提高自身的综合国力及竞争力。面临激烈的就业竞争环境,当代大学生已深刻意识到“今天不能抱着昨天的就业观念去面对明天的就业局面”。“铁饭碗”已不再适用于当今形势,“主动择业”已成为了当代大学生择业主流。选择用新的就业观念去迎接明天的严峻的就业考验,积极争取适合自己的就业之路,在选择的基础上,主动推销自己,充分表现出自我高尚的职业道德与良好的工作能力。这样的择业方式才能在激烈的环境当中求得生存与发展。

2.择业从单一性走向多元性。随着社会就业制度的变迁和就业压力的增大,当今的大学生已经学会主动适应社会,体现出很强的主动意识、自我意识与竞争意识,以更加多元化的选择主动适应新的就业形势,大致表现在以下几个方面:

第一,就业类型上。大学生择业取向的范围增加,从以往的无风险的国有性质的单位走向如民营大中型企业、私营企业等各行各业,或参军入伍等。
