How do you like to go to school in Oxford, England? There are no real classes. The students go from one group to another when they want to. You may find students of fourteen, sixteen or twenty-two years old all in the same group. They work at their own studies. Nobody tells them what they should do or what they shouldn’t do.

The day I visited, this school began at nine. Some students were listening to their own lessons. Others were watching TV on physics. A group was working in the library. I didn’t say anybody just doing nothing. Everybody was studying.

At lunch time I could see students working, too. They were talking about their lessons while they were eating. When you think of those studies, you can be sure it is one of the best schools in the world.

单招英语复习计划

高职单招的英语复习计划让高职单招的英语复习变得有效：复习时要思路清晰，目标明确，难度适中；更要提倡趣味教学法，最大限度地激发学生的学习兴趣，提高他们的学习积极性，变“要我学”为“我要学”为复习中关键之关键。参加高职单招考试中，近一半的考生英语基础薄弱，从初中到职专，教科书就有7 本；需要掌握的单词有三千多个，还有英语习惯用语，量多背不住；语法似乎都学过，好像有点印象，却做十题错八题，不知如何是好。因此，在进入高三时教师就该有明确清晰的教学计划。先订简单的全年计划，再订详细的阶段计划。依据高职单招英语试卷的命题特点，在此使用四轮复习法：语法———教材———专项———模拟。其中，阅读理解操练贯穿整个复习过程。一、复习指导思想二、复习要避免单纯的知识总结和枯燥的操练，要体现对学生知识与能力、过程与方法、情感态度等方面的基本要求。在复习的目的、内容、形式、方法上，都应考虑这些学生的整体基础与学习能力，把握学生的需求，使他们能主动地“爱复习”，从而做到“有效复习”。二、复习原则抓住“纲”、紧扣“本”，有效复习。“纲”即是考试大纲，在复习时，教师和学生都应学习并充分理解和准确把握“大纲”中对基础知识与能力的要求，从中领会命题思路，掌握复习重点。三、明确复习思路，系统归纳在总复习时，要突出一个“总”字。面对几千的单词和词组，几百种的句型，通过复习，要使学生对英语学习有个总体的、概括的印象。大到语法项目，小到具体的知识点，使学生脑子中有清晰的线索和内容充实的“框架”。这样，学生就能根据具体问题在“框架”中搜索相关知识点。四、专项练习，难度适中由于学生的基础普遍较差，普通高考的英语练习卷根本不适合高职单招的考生，题型也不一样，所以一定得另出合适的题目，难度要适中。复习的时候，教师应有目的、有针对性地进行专题讲解与训练，搜集、积累学生平时在各方面出现的错误，对症下药，逐题突破。五、保证基础，鼓励中档争取高分目前为止，所有高职单招英语试题，都是基础题、中档题较多，难题较少。而高考成绩不尽人意的原因之一是多数人基础题得分少，所以不能轻视基础题。特别是对中等生和差等生，教师一定要要求他们把基础知识学扎实，少钻研难题；但是要鼓励中上等生在掌握基础的前提下，操练一些具有代表性的具有一定难度的练习，找出解题技巧，争取高考取得高分。刚开始复习时，复习的知识难度一定不能太高，要教予通俗易懂的知识，以提高学生的学习兴趣为前提，变被动学习为主动学习为关键。六、复习计划第一轮：复习最基础的语法知识。复习内容：最简单的基础的英语知识。复习目标：初步了解掌握简单又基础的语法知识。复习措施：介于多数学生薄弱的英语基础，第一轮复习要从最简单的语法讲起，例如复习abc 等26 个字母的读音，写法，为什么boy 的复数形式是boys 而不是boies 等等这些最基础的知识。要详细有广度但难度不能太深。还有因为很多职高生的学习习惯也不
