Unit 5 Those are pandas 教学设计

一、指导思想(Guiding ideology)

本教材以中华人民共和国教育部《全日制义务教育英语课程标准(试验稿)》为理论依据,始终以“激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,是学生树立自信心养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习能力和合作精神,是学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力”为指导,全面体现以学生为主体的教育思想,并具有科学性、趣味性、操作性、灵活性、启发性和人文性特点。本堂课的设计中也充分体现了这点。

二、教材分析(Analysis of teaching material)

本课是一堂听说课,学习对象为四年级学生。根据《课程标准》的目标,能引出话题并进行几个回合的交谈,如能和他人结对活动;能在教师的指导下参与角色扮演活动,如能利用教师所提供的用具,根据教师的亲身示范,以及课件上所展示的目标语言。本课的话题选自四年级(上)Unit 5 Those are pandas 在学习了人物长相单词的基础上,要求学生学会和了解描述动物的外貌的基本用语,懂得描述动物外貌的基本句型。

三、学情分析(Analysis of the students)

根据英语课程标准规定: 通过听、说、读、写的训练,使学生获得英语基础知识和交际初步运用英语的能力,激发学生的学习兴趣,为进一步学习打好初步的基础。比如像本课所涉及的话题是他们接触过的,因此,他们渴望用英语来表达。另外,四年级学生的心理特点反映在学习英语的能力上,他们模仿和记忆的能力特别强。学生的发音器官很灵敏,耳朵辨音的能力强,口舌也能灵活准确地模仿各种发音。四年级学生的记忆以具体形象记忆为主,并习惯于机械性记忆,

小学生理解和分析语言的能力相对来说较弱。他们更感兴趣的是如何用英语来表述与现实生活息息相关的话题并寻求合理的解决办法。

四、教学目标(Teaching aims)

设计意图:课前打招呼,既是对所学知识的复习,又和学生拉近了距离。猜谜的方式,即吸引了学生的注意力,又激活了学生的思维能力。

Step 2 Presentation of new words and structure

1.学生猜谜语,教师揭示谜底,在PPT上出示大熊猫的图片,they

are pandas.教师提问:“where can you see pandas?”学生回答出动物园,引出动物园的单词zoo.

2.教师带领同学们参观动物园,认识tiger,lion,elephant,giraffe,

monkey,rabbit 这几个新朋友.

T: Let’s go to the zoo and meet our new friends. okay?

教师向学生展示新朋友老虎的图片,提问:“look,what are these?”并引导学生回答:they are tigers. 让学生模仿老虎的样子、动作、声音等。以同样的方式认识其他的朋友,并多次播放录音,学生模仿跟读,教师指导纠正。
