三一口语考试现在的流行程度非常高，几乎每一个要小升初的孩子都在考。
三一口语总共12个级别，又分为1-3级，4-6级，7-9级，10-12级。其中，1-3级在国外是没有的，只有中国才有，是为了适应中国孩子需要而专门增加的级别。这三个级别非常简单，对于有一定基础和有别的英语口语学习途径的孩子来说，是不需要参加1-3级的考试的。
当初天一从2级开始考，3级也参加了，主要是因为他此前从没上过口语班，正好以考代练，给他补补口语课程。如果从幼儿园就开始上英语课程，而且上得比较系统的话呢，最好直接就从4级开始。
有些朋友听说天一考了4级，就问我什么时候开始准备4级比较合适。对于这个问题，我觉得从三年级上学期开始应该可以，用一年零几个月的时间，一口气就可以把4-6级全部学完了。如果开始的太早了，6级的时候上不去，还是要停下来等。
4-6级虽然归为一个大级别，但是其中4、5级的水平比较接近，6级相对要求高一些。
4、5级的话题虽然不同，5级的话题更多，要求也稍微高点儿，但是仔细看看会发现实质上区别不大。我觉得4、5两级当中，只要选一级来参加考试就够了。
6级是小升初的一个重要砝码，而且7级的水平比6级高出很多，绝非人人都能达到7级的要求，所以6级几乎是每个孩子必经的一个阶段。不管是否继续冲击7-9级，拿个6级证书都是必须的。
6级的语法要求比4、5级增加不多，但是话题变化很大，而且都不是3-4年级的孩子们熟悉的内容，所以3-4年级考6级还是要费些力气的。起码得让孩子把话题的中文意思
搞清楚了，有些背景知识了，才能准备英语内容。
半年多以来，天一和叮当一起上三一口语课程，两人分别考了4级和5级，但是看他们两个的理解能力，要考6级最好还是稍微等一等。因此，天一的课程决定暂时中断，等KET考试结束之后再着手准备6级的考试，如果一切顺利，大概要到今年秋天也就是10月份左右能去参加考试。
同事的孩子到了6年级去考5、6级，感觉就非常容易，稍微准备一下即可拿到优秀，因为理解力和知识面都上去了。所以其实来说，到了6年级再去考会事半功倍的。只是小升初不等人啊！为了在5、6年级的时候多一些时间参加竞赛、坑班，只好把三一口语和PET 考试往前提。对于小小年纪的孩子来说，的确是靠着牺牲时间死记硬背才能通过，感觉这时间花的有点儿不值！
而且，这样的通过方式只是保证你拿到证书了，对于英语水平的实际提高作用并不大。
我打算等天一考完6级，就要让三一口语的学习告一段落了，即使小升初需要更高级别的证书，也放到最后阶段去考，现在是有点儿事倍功半的意思了。
