The dev elopment of science and technology has made a big difference in people's life. It is not hard to imagine what life will be like in the future. In my opinion，future life will be brighter than ever. First，every family will have Robots which will relieve us of the physical work. Also，modern means of transport will make it convenient for us to travel anywhere. Most important of all，no one will suffer from illness because deadly diseases such as cancer has been got rid of. However，some future problems cannot be neglected. For example，environmental pollution will go from bad to worse and the shortage of water resources will be serious.
Clearly，as citizens in the modern world，it is our duty to give thought to the living environment and conditions of the later generations. Personally，we can't develop the technology at the cost of environment. Instead，we should take the responsibility to protect
environment with technology. Only so can technology serve its purpose well.
