,Larry Brown,Sam Perkins,James Worthy,

Isiah Thomas,Magic Johnson,Geo rge Gervin。

Pat Riley,

Wenter: There is no I in team Jordan: but t

here is I in win

种方式释放我的enthusiasm(审核的问题)。

Jerry?s not here. I don?t know who?d invite him. I didn?t. I hope he understands it goes a long way. He?s a very competitive person. I was a very competitive person. He said organizations win championships. I said, …I didn?t see organizations playing with the flu in Utah. I didn?t see it playing with a bad ankle.?”“Granted, I think organizations put together teams, but at the end of the day, the team?s got to go out and play. I think the players win the championship, and the organization has something to do with it, don?t get me wrong. But don?t try to put the organization above the players.”

“I was in Chicago in 1994 … and at this time I had no thoughts of coming back and playing the game of basketball. Bryon Russell came over to me and said, …Why?d you quit? You know I could guard you. If I ever see you in a pair of shorts …?

“When I did come back in 1995 and we played Utah in …96, I?m at the center circle and Bryon Russell is standing next to me. I said, …You remember the [comments] you made in 1994 about, …I think I can guard you, I can shut you down, I would love to play against you? Well, you?re about to get your chance.?“

Jordan then commented on former NBA greats Isiah Thomas, George Gervin and Magic Johnson freezing him out at his first All-Star Game.

“You guys gave me the motivation to say, …You know what? Evidently I haven?t proved enough to these guys. I?ve got to prove to these guys that I deserve what I got at this level.?

He also thanked Bulls fans.

“They took me in and I had to earn my keep. They believed in me. I believed in them. That marriage lasted up until now. I will always, always have the deepest warmth for the city of

Chicago and the support I?ve received from them.”

“Other than what I?ve done, I can?t give back any more. And I wouldn?t ask for any more. I just want them to be able to remember the things I contributed to the city. And hopefully at some point down the road, they can have another championship just so they can compare the two. I wouldn?t be standing here without their support without a doubt.”

Ted

Now, I want to start with a question: When was the last time you were called childish? For kids like me, being called childish can be a frequent occurrence. Every time we make irrational demands, exhibit irresponsible behavior, or display any other signs of being normal American citizens, we are called childish, which really bothers me. After all, take a look at these events: Imperialism and colonization, world wars, George W. Bush. Ask yourself: Who's responsible? Adults. Now, what have kids done? Well, Anne Frank touched millions with her powerful account of the Holocaust, Ruby Bridges helped end segregation in the United States, and, most recently, Charlie Simpson helped to raise 120,000 pounds for Haiti on his little bike. So, as you can see evidenced by such examples, age has absolutely nothing to do with it. The traits the word childish addresses are seen so often in adults that we should abolish this age-discriminatory word when it comes to criticizing behavior associated with irresponsibility and irrational thinking. (Applause) Thank you. Then again, who's to say that certain types of irrational thinking aren't exactly what the world needs? Maybe you've had grand plans before, but stopped yourself, thinking: That's impossible or that costs too much or that won't

I can’t, it’s no way. I get so many people I can thank. In all the videos, you never just saw me, also Scottie Pippen and the championship we won. I’ve got a lot of questions over the last four weeks. Anybody says “well, why do you pick David Thompson?” I know why, David knows why and maybe you guys don’t know. But as I grow up i n North Carolina, I was eleven years old, 1974, I think, when David won the championship. I hated North Carolina, but I ended up in North Carolina. But I was in love with David Thompson, not just for the game basketball, but in terms of what he represented. You know, we all, as David says or said we go through trails and tribulations. And he did, and I was inspired by him. And when I called him and asked him to stand up for me, I know I shocked a shoot out of him. I know I did. But he is very kind to say, ”Yeath, I’ll do it.” That is not disrespect to the North Carolina guy; we all know I am true blue North Carolina guy to the heart. Coach Smith, Larry Brown, Sam Perkins, James Worthy, you know all of those guys. I’d like to start to my parents. You guys see all the I-likes. What is about me that you guys don’t know? As I set up here and watch all the other guys give their history. So many things I didn’t know about Jerry Sloan. And we lived on the phone, but I didn’t know he was in a small class fro m the first grade to the eighth grade. Even David Robinson, I have known David for some time. You know, but I found some things, good things or bad things about him that I didn’t know. And Chipson, I’ve known Chipson for years. My father and my mother spent a lot time with Mike and found out good things about her, but what about me that you guys don’t know?

英国女王2015圣诞致辞 (中英双语英汉对照) Queen’s Christmas Broadcast 2015 At this time of year, few sights evoke more feelings of cheer and goodwill than the twinkling lights of a Christmas tree. The popularity of a tree at Christmas is due in part to my great-great grandparents, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. After this touching picture was published, many families wanted a Christmas tree of their own, and the custom soon spread. In 1949, I spent Christmas in Malta as a newly-married naval wife. We have returned to that island over the years, including last month for a meeting of Commonwealth leaders; and this year I met another group of leaders: The Queen's Young Leaders, an inspirational group, each of them a symbol of hope in their own Commonwealth communities. Gathering round the tree gives us a chance to think about the year ahead -- I am looking forward to a busy 2016, though I have been warned I may have Happy Birthday sung to me more than once or twice. It also allows us to reflect on the year that has passed, as we think of those who are far away or no longer with us. Many people say the first Christmas after losing a loved one is particularly hard. But it’s also a time to remember all that we have to be thankful for. It is true that the world has had to confront moments of darkness this year, but the Gospel of John contains a verse of great hope, often read at Christmas carol services: "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." One cause for thankfulness this summer was marking seventy years since the end of the Second World War.

Jordan was extremely instrumental in popularizing the NBA around the world in the 1980s and 1990s.It takes a very special person to become the greatest basketball player of all time, so today I want to talk about 10 success lessons from Michael Jordan. 1. Make It Happen “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” In order to succeed you’re going to have to kick down the door and make it happen on purpose. You’re not going to “luck up” and succeed, success won’t come with the passage of time. If you’re going to succeed, you’re going to have to roll up your sleeves, put your head down, and make it happen at all costs. 1. 2. Passion “Even when I’m old and grey, I won’t be able to play it, but I’ll still love the game.” You must have passion in order to succeed. If success is to be yours, it will be yours while you are following your passion. You won’t succeed doing something you despise, you won’t even succeed doing something that you like doing, you will succeed when you do what you love, what you’re passionate about. 2.

(Her Majesty’s Most Gracious Speech)。 Sixty years ago today, a young woman spoke about the speed of technological change as she presented the first television broadcast of its kind. She described the moment as

Television has made it possible for many of you to see me in your homes on Christmas Day. My own family often gather round to watch television, as they are at this moment. And that is how I imagine you now. Six decades on, the presenter has evolved somewhat, as has the technology she described. Back then, who could have imagined that people would one day be watching this on laptops and mobile phones, as some of you are today? But I'm also struck by something that hasn't changed - that whatever the technology, many of you will be watching this at home.

Many people may choose to give up. However, the surest way to success is to keep your direction and stick to your goal. On your way to success, you must keep your direction. It is just like a lamp, guiding you in darkness and helping you overcome obstacles on your way. Otherwise, you will easily get lost or hesitate to go ahead. Direction means objectives. You can get nowhere without an objective in life. You can try to write your objective on paper and make some plans to achieve it. In this way, you will know how to arrange your time and to spend your time properly. And you should also have a belief that you are sure to succeed as long as you keep your direction all the time.

Each year that passes seems to have its own character. Some leave us with a feeling ofsatisfaction, others are best forgotten. 2009 was a difficult year for many, in particular thosefacing the continuing effects of the economic downturn. I am sure that we have all been affected by events in Afghanistan and saddened by thecasualties suffered by our forces serving there. Our thoughts go out to their relations and friendswho have shown immense dignity in the face of great personal loss. But, we can be proud of the positive contribution that our servicemen and women are making, inconjunction with our allies. Well over 13,000 soldiers from the United Kingdom, and across the Commonwealth- Canada,Australia, New Zealand and Singapore- are currently serving in Afghanistan. The debt of gratitude owed to these young men and women, and to their predecessors, is indeedprofound.
