龙岩咸脆花生，引进国外先进生产技术与设备，畅销日本、韩国及东南亚。
国内常用引进先进技术生产来增强广告吸引力和说服力，但这对欧美等英语国家的受众来说毫无吸引力。他们所推崇的是食品的口味，成分是否天然、无污染、有益健康等。在广告文案中一味强调生产技术与设备如何如何先进（而且还是从国外即这些国家引进的），最终只是“无的放矢”，完全没有击中要害。这就是社会文化差异造成的语用失误。英、汉广告各自依托和反映的文化存在巨大差异，即中国人与英美人的广告文化共享性差，因而带有明显汉文化痕迹的译文难为英美读者接受。因此需对广告背后的文化，特别是背后的文化差异进行剖析，借助译入语的文化优势，进行补偿性的翻译。在语篇层面上我们尽可能地保留原文的立意、构思与表现手法，力求再现原文的创意美；在词句层面上我们应侧重传译其效果，不必囿于原文的表达法。前文所提到的所有广告英语的语言特性都应考虑到并适时采用，但又并非只是机械地对等翻译。请看龙岩咸脆花生广告的不同翻译版本：

此版本多处采用了我们之前讨论过的广告英语修辞手法。标题句采用仿拟，模仿英语国家读者熟悉的美国著名诗人Patric Henry的名言：“Give me Liberty, or give me death”. 同时Peanuts 又和Nuts 押韵，儿童在要求得不到满足的情况下往往会一发疯。这种直白的语气，非常贴近真实生活，不仅容易吸引读者注意，而且容易印入他们的脑海，甚至能博得父母亲们的会心一笑。“Crack”一词在这里的使用，又巧妙地体现了双关的修辞手段。因为Crack除了用于“Crack a nut"——砸开坚果、使坚果裂开的意思以外，还可表示解决难题、揭示秘密等。除此以外，文案中还多次出现了自创的词语拼缀，在不影响意思表达的前提下使行文更为凝练简洁。
