Part three:

1、One of the important documents for sea transport is called the Bill of Lading, which is a receipt given by the shipowner or their agents evidencing the receipt Of the goods mentioned in the B/L. A B/L singed by the captain after he receives and inspects the goods on board the ship is called a shipped B/L. If the goods are damaged before they reach the ship the captain or the shipowners issue a foult B/L. If the captain receives the goods on board in apparent good order and condition, the full title of the document he signs is a clean , shipped on board Bill of Lading". The holder of a Bill of Lading can transfer possession of the goods to another person or company by endorce or signing on the back of it. The details printed on the B/L must include the Port of loading and the port of discharging The type of payment must also be stated.

2、In reply to your letter of December 12th the M.S. MORNINGSTAR is receiving general cargo from January 12th to 18th, inclusive and is expected to

Commence loading on 14th. Particularly that there is no undue delay, we see no reason why your goods should not be on board by 15th although this can not be guaranteed. We suggest the 3 cases should be delivery to the ship on the opening day and we will do our utmost to comply with you request.

Part four:

1、5月24日来信及时收到，经仔细考虑，我们决定正式委托你们作为我们在利伯维尔港（port of Libreville)的船舶代理。

In receipt of your letter of 24th of may in due cource, after we have carefully considered that we have decided to entrust you as the shiperowner’s agent at the port of Libreville to look after our vessels whenever call at.

2、由于我们两国之间的贸易迅速发展，我们肯定今后我公司将会有更多的船只停靠你港和

你们国家其他港口。

Owing to the trade situation rapid developed between our two countries , we guarantee therefore more vessels will be calling at your port and the rest ports of your country later.

3、兹有一批自行车货物500箱由上海装至孟买，请给我们报价包括码头费、驳船费、卸货及其他费用在内的运费率。

Please be informed that a ensured shipment of 500 cases of Bicycle from shanghai to Bombay, you are kindly to quote us your competitive freight rate and that are including the Whalfage, Lighterage, unloading fee and other expenses etc.

4、兹告知本公司可按贵方要求为你的货载保留足够的舱位请将托运申请书填好寄来以换取装货单（shipping order），但运费须先付。

Please be advised that our company have sufficient cargo space for your consignment which can comply with you request. Therefore you are requested to fill in consigned application form as soon as possible enable us to make out your shipping order accordingly, but your ocean freight must be prepaid due to shipping term requirement.

Your highly attention to this matter will be very much appreciated.

Part five:

1、We are sorry to tell you that in accordance with the regulations and rules of our country, stowaways are not allowed to go ashore, they must remain on board and leave here together with the ship.

我们遗憾地告诉你，根据我们国家的法律法规规定偷渡者不允许上岸，他们必须留在船上直到随船离开。

2、The COSCO Bill of Loading regulates that any one piece or package of cargo which weight 2000 kilos or upwards and any awkward cargo with a length of 9 metres or upwards must be clearly and boldly marked with the weight and/or dimensions and/or length by the shipper and shall be loaded and discharged by shore crane or otherwise at the shp’s option.

中远提单注明每一件或者每一包装重量超过2000公斤或者2000公斤以上，粗重货的长度

超过9米或9米以上，托运人必须清楚地注明货物的重量，尺码，长度，这类货物应使用岸上吊具装卸，或者由船方选择其他装卸办法。
