Last week, our school organized an activity themed 'Glory of Labor', which proved to be meaningful and indelible.

When we held the class meeting, our teacher informed us of the news that an activity themed 'Glory of Labor' would be held. On hearing that, we were extremely excited. We regarded it as a wonderful opportunity to experience the real life and couldn't resist the desire to be involved in it.

Having signed up for the activity, I returned home immediately to prepare the luggage. Hardly had I entered my bedroom when I took out my suitcase. I packed my necessities into it which included some clothes, towels and the water bottle. I couldn't wait to experience the activity.

On that day, together with my classmates, I came to the watermelon patch. When we reached the destination, we were divided into different groups and got down to work. Some of us were responsible for picking watermelons; some students put the watermelons into the baskets while others carried the baskets filled with watermelons to the specified place. Tired as we were, we were in high spirits.

Time passed before we knew it. After getting the task finished, I returned home and recalled the whole day, sharing my excitement with my parents. With my favorite meal served, they spoke highly of me. An overwhelming sense of pride came over me.

It was through this experience that I realized that labor is glorious. Never could it fade from my mind and I expected another activity like this.

Last week, we took the foreign students in our school to experience the authentic tea culture, which turned out be extremely rewarding.

On arriving at the tea house, the foreign students were impressed by the unique tea pots and tea cups. I gave them a vivid and informative introduction of tea culture, including its profound history, its rich variety, and the exquisite craftsmanship of making tea. With their interest greatly sparked, I then began to teach them how to make tea.

In order to deliver a clear presentation, I slowly explained the traditional procedure of making tea in detail. Absorbed in every move of mine, the foreign students were once again amazed by this uniqu e culture and they couldn’t help taking pictures from time to time.

Next came the moment when I asked them to have a try themselves. Washing the tea pots, adding tea leaves, and pouring water into the cups, they followed my instructions and were really immersed in the charming tea culture. The tea house witnessed a really enjoyable time for all of us.

At the end of the activity, holding the tea bags in our hands, we took a picture to memorize the unforgettable day. It suddenly hit me that traditional culture like tea culture was of great charm and huge value. And I swelled with pride to spread our own culture to people all over the world.

Graduation finally came. My classmates and I decided to do something. After a heated discussion, we agreed on making a video to record our experiences at school.

Material collecting took us a whole week, during which we interviewed our teachers and took pictures of every aspect of school life. The editing part after that was tough. We debated over what to put into the video. Some compromises were unavoidable, but the video turned out perfect. Several days later, when the video was played on the graduation ceremony, it was well received. The students and teachers shared a great time. That surely gave us a great sense of achievement.

A week before Earth Day, posters were put up around our school, calling upon us to join in the actions for greener earth.

Our class came up with the idea to make better use of used materials. We brought worn-out clothes, pieces of cardboard and empty plastic bottles to our classroom and turned them into dolls, handbags, tissue boxes and small vases. That weekend, we went to a nearby neighborhood and gave them away to the people there. All were very happy with those unexpected gifts, especially little kids and elderly people. We did so well that we were invited to share our idea and experience with the students of our school. After listening, they gave me a warm applause, which made me feel extremely glad.

We are very proud of ourselves and believe we can do more for a better world.

Last week was memorable because we had a meaningful and interesting experience on traditional culture.

Early in the morning, an 90-year-old craftsman was invited to our class, with a large suitcase carried by two students. We gave him a warm welcome.

Then he sat down to show us the process of making a dough figurine. It was very kind and patient of him to explain every step of it. So careful were we that we quickly mastered the way of doing dough figurines. After that we began to make our own dough figurines, while the old craftsman walked around to give us instructions.

Half an hour later, we finished our works, including a monkey king, a rabbit, a princess and so on. When we were looking at the works we made, a sense of excitement and achievement immediately filled our hearts. To memorize the valuable moment, we took a photo together.

From the experience, I learned that it is our responsibility as well as our duty to protect the tradition. What a memorable and unforgettable day (we had.) I hope I will take part in more activities like this.

One possible version

1There was a problem with the parking place for bikes in our school, I noticed the entrance was small and almost blocked. So my classmates and I had a discussion and wrote a report. Then we went to meet the schoolmaster in his office and gave the report to him. He accepted our suggestions. Soon afterwards, a second entrance was opened to the parking place. Now it is easy to park our bikes there.

2 There was a problem with the parking place for bikes in our school. In the rush hour, the students had to wait in lines to put their bikes in the proper places. Seeing this, I planned to take measures to solve the problem.

Then I held a discussion. In the hot discussion, my classmates and I put up with many fresh and practical ideas, which were written down on a piece of paper.

At about 5 o’clock, we handed the advice paper to headmaster, which made him satisfied.

Several days later, a second entrance was opened to the parking place. Now it is convenient for us to park our cars. Seeing this practical advice work, I felt a sense of achievement.

Saturday，June2 Fine This morning，when I was waking on the street, I saw that two travelers were reading a map, looking puzzled. It seemed that they were lost. April 12 is memorable because our class had a meaningful experience on that day. In the morning, we bicycled to the suburbs to plant trees, talking and laughing all the way. After getting the work done, we put up a board reminding people to protect the trees. Before leaving we took some photos to record our green action. However, when reached the top, we were shocked to see litter here and there, such as bottles and banana peels. Then we started to pick up the litter.
