2. 道歉理由(giving reasons)：I had a minor accident./ I had a minor operation.

3. 处于他人的处境而对他人产生同情，怜悯之义（empathy）I know you are a little angry, anyhow

it's my fault, so I wish you can forgive me. I know that you must have been disappointed. I also feel worried and anxious in my heart.

4. 弥补纠正及其承诺(correction and commitment)：I am sure I can mak e up the loss by…/ I promise it will never happen again. / It would be very kind(considerate) of you to give me another chance to…( to give me another two days…)

5. 进一步致歉(apology again)：Many apologies. / Do please forgive me.
