课标要求及分析:

本课是听说课,《课标》对听说课的要求是:听懂简单的录音材料并运用简单的日常用语就所熟悉的话题进行简短对话。能认读所学词语。能根据图片、词语或例句的提示,写出简短的语句。

第一项课标要求的维度目标是结果目标,行为动词是听、运用。学习水平为懂、了解。学习内容是录音材料、日常用语、熟悉的话题。

第二条维度目标是结果目标,行为动词是认读、写,学习水平为能,学习内容是图片、词语、例句、简短的语句。

教材分析:

本课出自人教版Go for it 新目标英语八年级下册Unit 3。本节课呈现的语言是“向别人请求许可的句型”是本单元的核心部分。本课的主要目标是能用“Could you please do things?” “Could I please do things?”谈论如何委婉地提出请求或征求别人的许可, 及肯定回答语,能礼貌地拒绝,,并表达自己的理由, 陈述自己的好恶。培养学生热爱劳动的品质。Section A 1a-2c是第三单元的第一课时,起到承上启下的作用。

学情分析:

优势:初中二年级的学生具有一定的表达能力。本单元话题来自学生的生活经历,学生已经学习了许多动词短语,为表达提供了语言基础,此外,学生已初步掌握了使用祈使句和Can you…? 提出请求和建议及回答Sure, I’d love to. 为本课的学习打下了铺垫。本单元的活动设计与学生的生活紧密相连,又是学生感兴趣的内容,为表达提供了真实的材料,使得学生在每个活动中想说、有话说,使活动参与的范围广,达到任务的真实性,有效性。

劣势:现在的学生多数时间都是学习,做家务有些少,而且中国的语言习惯,家长和孩子说话一般比较直接,所以对委婉语气理解会有些难度。

教学重点、难点:

课标要求“听懂简单的录音材料并运用简单的日常用语就所熟悉的话题进行简短对话。能认读所学词语”。教材分析中指出:本节课呈现的语言是“有礼貌的提出要求。能听懂和谈论做家务的话题;并能就此话题进行会话。”通过对课标和教材的分析,确定本课的教学重点是:掌握本课的重点单词,动词短语,委婉语气的句型。并完成听力和读写任务。

课标要求“运用简单的日常用语就所熟悉的话题进行简短对话。”根据学情分析我们知道,因为语言习惯和文化习俗的不同,学生对委婉语气的理解和运用上有难度,我们确定本课的教学难点是:1.学会准确使用Could礼貌地提出要求和征询许可。

2.学会准确回答别人的要求和许可。

学习目标:

(1)利用教学图片、幻灯片等,及造句,书写等形式,学生掌握如下单词,短语:do the dishes, make

the bed, take out the rubbish, fold the clothes,

sweep the floor, clean the living room …

(2)通过Pair work的口语交际形式礼貌提出要求和向别人征询许可;通过小组Role play的形式,进行句型操练,限时计量,学生掌握如下句型。

1. Could you please take out the rubbish?

Sure. / Sorry, I can't. I have to finish homework first.

2. Could I use your computer?

Sorry. I'm going to work on it now.

(3)通过让学生在真实语境中,理解运用委婉语气。

教学流程:

活动一、观看白雪公主在七个小矮人屋里,收拾屋子,做家务的动画片儿。询问学生动画片儿里提到哪些做家务的短语,并问问学生今天早晨在家帮妈妈做了什么家务?导入新课(预设时间3分钟)【点评:通过看动画片,激发孩子的兴趣,而且现在的家长一般关注孩子学习,很少让孩子做家务。孩子也缺乏做家务的意识。通过观看动画片,看到白雪公主都要做家务的。培养孩子热爱劳动的品格。也由此自然引到本课的知识点,做家务的话题。】

活动二、Presentation(呈现图片) (学一学)(预设时间5分钟)

1:通过问题Do you do these chores at home? 利用图片逐步呈现不同家务琐事do the dishes, take out the rubbish, fold your clothes, sweep the floor, make your bed, clean the living room, wash the clothes等。

【点评:学习家务琐事类型表达。利用图片形象直观。】

2:做动作猜短语,先让学生重述所学短语,鼓励学生拓展更多的家务琐事的短语。

【点评:通过学生之间做动作猜短语,调动学生的兴趣。鼓励学生用更多的短语表达,使学生在巩固新学词汇的同时,复习巩固旧知识,为后面的句型操练提供更丰富的语言支持,并能提供机会让学生互相学习,每一个个体都有不同程度的提高。】

活动三、利用图片,提出问题:Will Peter take out the rubbish? 学生作答后,将他们的注意力引向1b表格,利用问题Who will do these chores, Peter or his mother? 引导学生猜测答案。然后播放录音,学生按照课本要求填写表格,教师核对答案。学生用完整的句子陈述谁将去做该事。(预设时间5分钟)【点评:利用图片,形象直观的学习表达各类家务琐事。】

活动四、(预设时间7分钟)

1:学生互换角色朗读1c示范对话,然后画线找出其中表示提出要求的句型。

要求学生将所画句子和此前听写出的Peter母亲提出要求的语句一并读出,探索发现其中的共性结构特征,总结提出要求的句型结构Could you please do…? 和Can you do…?

板书呈现并读出以下三个句子,让学生朗读体会:

(1)Do the dishes, Peter.

(2)Can you do the dishes, Peter?

(3)Could you please do the dishes, Peter?

提出问题:Which is the most polite? 让学生思考、判断,引导学生理解:虽然情态动词can和could 均可用来提出要求,但是could要较为委婉、客气。Could you please…? 是一个礼貌、委婉地提出要求的句式,其后只要添加所要求的内容即可。

【点评:运用所听内容,使学生感知真实语言情景下的教学,轻松地理解、掌握新知识,而且使语言更具说服力,符合学生的认知,达到总结发现的目的,增强教学的实效性。】

2:根据所给的图片,学生两人一组,进行限时计量对话比赛,运用Could you please 提出要求,并做出回答。表扬奖励成绩好的组。

活动五、1.听前活动,识别人物关系及对话地点。分析表格内容,读懂短语。(预设时间5分钟)

2.跟据2a答案判断Peter父亲不同意的理由。

3.播放第二遍录音,从对话中获取信息。完成2b。核对答案。

【点评:帮助学生明确短语意思,找关键词,在听力中抓住关键词,通过听前预测,降低听力难度。引导学生在真实语境中正确地使用句型。】

活动六、通过小组对话,进一步熟悉和掌握向别人请求许可的句型,做2c问答。(预设时间5分钟)A: Could I use your computer?

2:学生分角色练习对话,找出重点短语,如help out with a few things, any minute now, this mess, pretty clean and tidy, mother clean等。

总体点评:

在本堂课的教学中,我觉得亮点有这些:通过看观看白雪公主在七个小矮人屋里,收拾屋子,做家务的动画片儿引出新课,这既引起学生的兴趣,也通过白雪公主的榜样激起学生做家务热情。起到了热身导入的作用。而通过学生之间做动作猜短语,既调动学生的兴趣。也激发学生使用更多的短语表达。突破了记忆短语的重点。而学生两人一组,进行限时计量对话比赛,点燃了学生们的学习热情。在本节课中,一共设计了两个任务。而设计任务的目的是给学生一个真实的语言运用的环境,让学生在做任务的同时学习和运用所学的知识。任务的设计由易到难,而且过渡自然,让学生一步一步轻松完成每一项任务。而最后的创设情景对话,为今晚你的生日聚会做准备。是考查学生对知识的综合运用能力,即通过模拟真实情景对话,从模仿语言过渡到运用语言。

总的来说,在这节课中设计的任务都能落实到位,学生除了完成所设计的任务外,还在过程中锻炼了他们的语言运用能力,最重要的是在活动的过程中还培养了他们小组合作的能力。
