2013年湖南省高考英语《考试说明》

Ⅰ.命题指导思想

普通高等学校招生全国统一考试是合格的高中毕业生和具有同等学力的考生参加的选拔性考试。高等学校根据考生成绩,按已确定的招生计划,德、智、体全面衡量,择优录取。因此,高考应具有较高的信度、效度,必要的区分度和适当的难度。

为了有利于高校科学选拔人才,有利于中学全面实施素质教育,有利于推进基础教育课程改革,湖南省2011年高考命题将着力于选拔具有创新意识和实践能力的人才,在进一步处理好“知识与能力”考查的同时,加大“过程与方法”的考查力度,兼顾“情感态度、价值观”的考查,加大由知识立意向能力素质立意转变的力度。2012年高等学校招生全国统一考试英语科(湖南卷)命题将依据教育部2003年颁布的《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》的总体目标和分项目标,根据《普通高等学校招生全国统一考试大纲(英语科·课程标准实验版)》的要求,结合湖南省实施《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》的实际,按照湖南省2012年高等学校统一招生考试方案,制定命题方案,确定考试内容与要求。

英语试题的命制在考查考生的英语语言知识和语言技能的基础上,突出考查语言综合运用能力,尤其是运用英语获取信息、处理信息,以及分析问题和解决问题的能力。注重语言的实用性、交际性、人文性、时代性和思想性,重视真实环境中的语言理解和语言运用。坚持重语篇、重语速、重能力,体现对考生文化意识、情感态度等综合人文素养的考查,使学生能够展示个性和思维的多样性与开放性。

Ⅱ.考试内容及要求

(一)语言基础知识

要求考生能够运用基本的英语语法知识(见附录一),以及所学功能意念和话题(见附录二和附录三),要求词汇量为3600左右(见附录四)。

(二)语言运用

1.听力

要求考生听懂有关日常生活中所熟悉话题的简短对话和独白。考生应能:

(1)理解主旨和要义;

(2)获取具体的、事实性信息;

(3)对所听内容的背景、说话者之间的关系等进行简单的推断;

(4)理解说话者的意图、观点和态度;

(5)识别不同语气所表达的不同情感;

(6)听懂有关熟悉话题的讨论和谈话并能记录要点。

2.阅读理解

要求考生读懂简易的文学作品、科普文章、公告、说明、广告以及书、报、杂志中关于一般性话题的简短文章,并回答相关问题。考生应能:

(1)理解语篇和段落主旨大意;

(2)理解文中具体信息;

(3)根据上下文推断生词的词义;

(4)作出简单的判断和推理;

(5)理解文段的基本逻辑结构;

(6)理解作者的意图、观点和态度;

(7)识别不同文体特征;

(8)理解文段的文化信息。

3.书面表达

要求考生根据所给提示与要求进行书面表达。考生应能:

(1)在一定的语境中准确使用英语语法和词汇

(2)使用一定词汇和句型,清楚连贯地用英语表达自己的意思

(3)根据所读短文进行转述或摘要

(4)用英语恰当地表达自己的情感、态度和价值观

考试采用闭卷、笔试形式,试卷满分150分。

120分钟

试卷由四个部分组成。第一部分听力,第二部分英语知识运用,第三部分阅读理解,第四部分书面表达。全卷共85小题,其中客观题85.5分,占57%,主观题64.5分,占43%。笔试内容、题量、记分和时间安排如下:

第一部分:听力

本部分共两节,第一节测试考生理解口头英语的能力。第二节测试考生获取、概括、归纳和表达主要信息的能力。

第一节:选择答案(共15小题,每小题1.5分,满分22.5分)

要求考生根据所听到的6段简短对话,从每题所给的3个选项中选出最佳选项。每段录音材料读两遍。

本节要求考生在理解对话的基础上快速处理关键信息,并对相关信息进行逻辑判断和推理。

第二节:填空(共5小题,每小题1.5分,满分7.5分)

本节要求考生根据所听到的一段材料,将尸体中的信息补充完整,每小题不超过3个单词。录音材料读两遍。本节测试考生获取、概括、表达主要信息的能力。

第二部分:英语知识运用

本部分共三节,测试考生对英语语法、词汇知识和简单表达形式的掌握情况。

第一节:语法填空(共15小题,每小题1分,满分15分)

本节要求考生从每小题所给的4个选项中选出最佳选项。主要考查考生对基本英语语法知识的掌握与运用。要求考生能把语言的形式、意义和用法有机地结合起来,尤其是能在语境中了解和掌握语法的表意功能,准确运用语法知识。

第二节:完形填空一(共12小题,每小题1.5分,满分18分)

本节要求考生从每个小题所给的4个选项中选出最佳选项。侧重考查考生对语义语境和语篇的不同层次的理解。

第三节:完形填空二(共8个小题,每小题1.5分,满分12分)

本节要求考生根据上下文,在每个空格处填入一个适当的单词。短文在补足后,要求意思通顺、前后连贯、结构完整。本节侧重考查考生的语感以及语言的衔接,连贯、结构等语言知识运用能力。

第三部分:阅读理解

本部分有3篇短文,共15小题,每小题2分,满分30分。

要求考生根据所给短文的内容,从每题所给的4个选项中选出最佳选项。

本部分测试考生理解书面英语的能力。

第四部分:书面表达

本部分共三节,主要测试考生的书面表达能力。

第一节:填空(共10小题,每小题1分,满分10分)

要求考试根据所给短文的内容在每小题的空格里填上适当的单词或短语,每空不超过三个单词。

本节要求考生理解所给短文的主旨大意和关键细节,把握文章的篇章结构和逻辑关系,完成对所给短文进行转述或摘要。主要考查考生获取信息和处理信息以及用英语进行思维和表达的能力。

第二节:简答(共4小题,满分10分)

本节要求考生阅读文章后,根据各小题的具体要求,简要回答问题。主要考查考生用简单的句子对所读短文的主要信息进行转述的能力。

第三节:写作(满分25分)

考生应根据提示用英语写一篇不少于120词的短文。要求语法正确,语意连贯、条理清楚,结构完整,文体恰当。

C Terrafugia Inc. said Monday that its new flying car has completed its first flight, bringing the company closer to its goal of selling the flying car within the next year. The vehicle —named the Transition – has two seats, four wheels and wings that fold up so it can be driven like a car. The Transition, which flew at 1,400 feet for eight minutes last month, can reach around 70 miles per hour on the road and 115 in the air. It flies using a 23-gallon tank of gas and burns 5 gallons per hour in the air. On the ground, it gets 35 miles per gallon. Around 100 people have already put down a $10,000 deposit to get a Transition when they go on sale, and those numbers will likely rise after Terrafugia introduces the Transition to the public later this week at the New York Auto Show. But don’t expect it to show up in too many driveways. It’s expected to cost $279,000. And it won’t help if you’re stuck in traffic. The car needs a runway. Inventors have been trying to make flying cars since the 1930s, according to Robert Mann, an airline industry expert. But Mann thinks Terrafugia has come closer than anyone to making the flying car a reality. The government has already permitted the company to use special materials to make it easier for the vehicle to fly. The Transition is now going through crash tests to make sure it meets federal safety standards. Mann said Terraf ugia was helped by the Federal Aviation Administration’s decision five years ago to create a separate set of standards for light sport aircraft, which are lower than those for pilots of larger planes. Terrafugia says an owner would need to pass a test and complete 20 hours of flying time to be able to fly the Transition, a requirement
