1.教学内容(见课本3—4页)

2.教材处理。本单元的中心话题是“朋友”,前面的“热

身”(Warming up)、“听力”(Listening )、“口语”(Speaking)都涉及了“什么是好朋友?”“如何交朋友?”等话题。在本部分里,“读前”(Pre-reading)部分假设了一个情景You were alone on

an island ,要组织学生讨论如何生存。这不但有利于培养学

生的想象能力,增强生存意识,而且引导学生为下一步“阅读”做好思想准备。

“阅读”(Reading)部分是一篇叙述性的故事,叙述的是美国电影《荒岛余生》的情节。片中汤姆·汉克斯饰演的查克·诺兰德———一个联邦快递业务工程师,他整天忙忙碌碌,工作成了他生活的全部。在一次出差途中,他乘坐的飞机失事,他是唯一的幸存者,并且被困在了一个荒无人烟的岛上。四年的荒岛生活使查克对生活有了全新的感受,对“如何对待朋友和他人”有了正确地认识。

“读后”(Post reading)部分要求学生在小组里讨论四个问题,其中前面两个问题是对文章的理解,评价学生对文章理解的程度,第三个问题要求学生结合文章探讨自己的想法,为今后社会生存做准备;第四个问题是开放性的,目的在于培养学生的思辩能力。

“读前”“阅读”“读后”是阅读教学的三个阶段,应把三个阶段结合起来,把阅读课文作为整体来处理。

3.教学目标:①知识目标。掌握下列词和词组的用法:Crash (n.&v .),desert (v .)deserted (adj .),alone &lonely,fond of,in order to,share(in)sth,share sth with sb,hunt for.②技能目标。使

学生初步掌握略读、查读和根据上下文猜测词义的能力。使学生运用已学的语言口、笔介绍他人的情况。③情感态度与价值观目标。使学生真正认识到朋友的重要性:生活中不能没有朋友,人人都需要朋友。

4.教学重点和难点:①学生初步掌握略读、查读的技

能;②使学生初步掌握根据上下文猜测词义的方法。

六、教学设计

1.总体思路。人教版高中英语教材在结构、功能、话题

相结合的基础上设计了许多易于操作的任务型活动。本阅读课是初中生上高中后的第一堂阅读课,计划用一节课完成。由于初、高中英语教学的侧重点不同,刚上高中的学生对略读、查读、猜测等阅读方法可能会不太了解,所以,略读、查读、猜测等分别用3分钟完成。在完成读前、阅读任务,训练了学生的略读、查读、猜测能力后,再要求学生精读课文,找出课文中的语言点,以实现本部分的知识目标。然后再放一些Cast Away 的视频片段,以使学生加深对课文的理解,并完成读后任务。课后完成一项介绍自己的朋友的写作任务,以进一步实现这部分的教学目标,体现读、写结合训练的路子。

2.教学过程

Step 1.Greetings and Lead--in (1minute)

Greet the whole class as usual .Step 2.Pre —reading (5minutes)

Explain the situation to the students and give them time to think about what they would bring.Activity l .Brainstorming (1minute)

Ask the students many questions on the use of the things just like:

What do you need if you want to make fire?What do you use if you want to see your face?

And at the same time get the students to know about the new words :match ,rope ,mirror ,gun ,harmer ,etc.Activity 2.Discussion (4minutes)

Divide the students into groups according to the things in the box they choose.Encourage the students to use the struc -tures I think …because …/I could use it to …/i t could be used to …/…would be more important than …because …Ask one student from each group to write their answers on the blackboard .Compare answers from different groups and have a short discussion.

高中英语阅读能力的培养分析 摘要:在高中英语的学习过程中,学生的阅读能力起着关键性的作用。在阅读学习过程中会涉及词汇的学习、语法学习以及阅读习惯等等,主要从四方面分析了如何提高高中生的英语阅读能力。 关键词:高中英语;阅读能力;文化知识 高中英语的学习中阅读能力主要指的是对语言文化的学习、获取外部信息的学习以及提高语言实践能力的学习。从高中英语的学习大纲中分析,它明确要求要提高学生的阅读能力,为进一步的学习打下扎实的基础。从学生的成绩方面进行分析,在高中英语的考试中,阅读成绩占有很大的比重。在现阶段的高中英语学习过程中,主要是对语言形式的学习,很少涉及阅读技巧的学习。如今的高中生在阅读中存在很大的问题,主要表现为阅读速度慢、理解能力差等。在教学中教师要提出有针对性的策略,帮助学生提高英语阅读能力。 一、重视词汇学习和词汇积累 在阅读中阅读能力的高低和词汇量具有很大的关系。现阶段的高中生英语词汇量稀少,在阅读过程中都不能将句子正确地翻译出来,会曲解文章的主要含义。在学习词汇的过程中学生不应单纯地死记硬背,而要讲究记忆的方法技

巧。词汇中有很多合成词和派生词,在具体的学习中只要记住自由词汇的含义也就等于学会了更多的词汇。在英语中还有很多是由单词主体和前缀、后缀构成的,在学习过程中只要掌握了这些前后缀,就等于学习了更多的词汇。 二、掌握必要的语法知识 在现如今的高中英语阅读中,句子的结构比以前的结构更加复杂,并且变得越来越长,所以,在分析句子的过程中只有掌握了必须的语法知识才能将复杂的句子简单化,将长句子变为短句子。例如,在遇到长句子时,句子中有很多陌生的单词,这就要发挥语法知识的作用。在高中英语中我们会学习到八种时态,包括一般现在时,现在进行时,一般将来时,过去将来时等等。句子还包括简单句、复杂句。在复杂句子中还有主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句等等。要想把握句子的整体含义,就要将句子的各个部分都分析清楚。 三、联系必要的文化知识 学生在学习过程中除了要学习必要的理论知识外,还要了解必要的文化背景知识和生活常识。在高中英语的学习中,会涉及很多西方的背景知识,例如,西方的节日和西方的传统。在阅读中会出现Easterisland(复活岛)等专有名词,当然还有可能包括一些书籍名称,在了解之后学习会变得更加简单。 四、培养良好的阅读习惯

高中英语阅读教学课案 一、课案主题 在英语教学中落实新课程标准,就是贯彻执行国家教育部关于课程改革的决定。新课程标准的三维教学观,具体到英语学科就是要整合发展学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面的素养,培养学生综合运用语言的能力探究学习、合作学习、任务型学习是在新课程标准下实施素质教育的关键环节,所以在我的教学设计里,时时体现着这几种原则。 二、课案背景 一方面,高中年龄段的学生对周围的事物较为敏感,有自己的观点和看法,他们不满足于教科书上的知识,想获得更多的信息。在英语学习上,他们不只是想把英语作为一门死记硬背的课程来学,更希望能学到知识性和趣味性兼有的内容,从英语学习中获得更多的知识和能力。另一方面学生对体育比较感兴趣,对吉尼斯纪录有一定的了解因此,应结合学生的实际情况,因材施教,激发学生兴趣,让学生主动学习,学有所获。 本课案是高一必修5第五模块里的Reading部分,转绕“A life in sport”这一健康主题,主要通过网络,电影的形式开展学习活动,让学生观看电影并自主通过网络查找资源,协作学习,通过讨论,了解当今体育名人李宁。要求学生学完本课后能够通过讨论图片来提高英语口语能力。 三、课案描述 Step I.lead in Teachers use the pictures connected with instruments and listen to a piece of music to lead in. show some pictures of some famous people and think of these questions: 1.which of the instruments do you like listen to 2.Who the people are? 3.Which famous musicians play them?

高一英语课堂教学设计案例 (高一必修一第三单元 Travel Journal最后一课) 漳州三中高一年段英语备课组蔡清清 一、教学内容介绍 该课是根据高一英语新教材第一模块第三单元Travel Journal中课后学生用书中的Writing Task扩展而成的一节活动课,是新课程教学实践中一次较为大胆的尝试。该课教学抛开传统的教师教学生学的教学方法,让学生在课前通过小组分工合作制作英语旅游海报和课件,并在课堂上开展大量的“任务型”活动来让学生体验语言,从而提升学生综合语言运用的能力,并通过活动培养学生自主学习和合作互助的精神,激发学生学习英语的热情。 二、设计理念 (一)英语教学主要任务之一是培养学生良好的学习习惯和学习兴趣,培养其交际和运用英语的能力。要达到这些任务,首先,教师应尽快从旧教材旧教法的框框中解放出来,转变思想,更新观念。若继续沿用传统的重语言知识讲授、重译写和语法教学、轻语言运用能力的培养,调动不起大多数学生学习英语的积极性。其次,应重视学生学习英语兴趣的培养,激发学生的学习兴趣。新时期英语教学要提倡“乐”的观念,情绪越好、越乐观,对所学内容便会发生浓厚的兴趣,学习效果也将越好。再者,在新形势下,转变教学思想是搞好新教材教法的前提,更新观念是用好新教材的保证。英语教师在实际教学中应自觉转变过去以应试为目的的教育思想,充分发挥新教材的优势特点,以突出教材的交际功能为主线来培养学生初步运用英语交际的能力;尽快解决教材新与方法旧的矛盾,变“不适应”为“适应”,掌握教学的主动权。 (二)运用交际手段,培养学生的能力。绝大部分学生主要是在课堂上学习英语,而在现实生活中缺少语言交际的环境和场所。从语言学角度来看,语言是人与人之间最常用、最有效、最重要的一种交际工具。交际能力是指在真实的情景中运用语言进行听说读写、交流信息和思想感情的能力。在教学中我努力创设和提供情景操练的机会,尽可能地将真实生活搬进课堂,注意在教学中为学生创设语言交际的环境。同时,还注意到交际是双向性的,是说者和听者双向交流思想的过程。在这一过程中,双方
