本学期贵校给我安排了八年级3班的英语课程,本教材共有4个单元,12个话题。具体内容包括以下:

Unit1 Playing Sports

本单元教学内容主要通过自己最喜欢的体育运动项目如篮球,引出运动和比赛的内容及有关奥运会的话题。

Topic1 I am going to play basketball.

本话题谈论了学生最喜欢的体育运动项目,介绍了学生最喜欢的体育明星及梦想的职业,语法主要学习be going to + do sth. 表一般将来时,此语法与话题内容紧密联系,主要句型有:

Are you going to join the school rowing club?

There is going to be a school sports meet next weekend.

What are you going to do tomorrow morning?

Topic2 I will kick you the ball again.

通过Kangkang向Michael提出请求,问他愿不愿意参加他们的足球队,从而再现“Would

you mind…?”句型和向他人提出请求和建议及表示责备的功能用法。本话题语法项目是:will表示意愿的用法。主要有:

Would you mind teaching me?

Would you mind not playing the piano so loudly?

Topic3 The school sports meet is coming.

本话题围绕学校运动会及奥运会展开语法will形式。一般将来时的肯定句、否定句、疑问句及其回答贯穿本话题始终。主要句型有:

Unit2 Keeping Healthy

本话题内容主要围绕健康方面的话题展开。从第一个话题至第三个话题,内容层层递进。先是从身体不适谈起,再谈到看病与怎样保持身体健康,最后高潮部分以SARS为主题,体现了教材贴近生活的特点。学生在学会交际用语的同时,增长了许多健康方面的知识,如怎样保持身体健康、怎样预防疾病、怎样合理膳食,并且树立了关心他人的情感意识,在别人生病或受伤时提供帮助和建议。Topic1 You should brush your teeth twice a day.

Unit3 Our Hobbies

Unit4 Our World
