Teaching contents: Part A (Period 1)
（This content is about David’s daily life. It mainly talks about
the time and what they do at the time. It is intended for the
pupils in Grade 5 to talk about their daily lives.）Teaching aims: 1 Know the words, eg, a busy day, half past…, a quarter…, etc.
2 Put the communicat ive sentences into use, such as ‘…on duty.’,
‘…take…with….’, ‘…want to…’ and so on.
3 Know the main idea of Part A. Then try to retell it.
Teaching importance:1 Understand the dialogue in the whole, and grasp the
important words and sentences.
2 Try to retell the dialogue according to the key words
shown.
Teaching difficulties:Know the usage of ‘past’ and ‘to’ preliminarily. And try to retell
it.

阐释如何使用past和to来表达时间。相对于传统教学方式而言，既有情境，又能以浅显的方式，引导学生更好地感知past和to的时间表达方式。
