Flying my dream
Having a dream is of great importance. Without a dream, people can’t make progress; without a dream, countries can’t develop; without a dream, the world can’t become so beautiful! What’s more, it is important to fly our dream. If we don’t let our dream fly, the dream will only be a dream, and can’t become a reality.
Here is my dream.
On March 18th, I heard there was an English speech contest to be held, and I was eager to take part in it. However, I failed to be chosen in my class. How disappointed I was! What could I do? Suddenly, an idea came to my mind. Yes, I could turn to the League of our school for help. But if I failed to communicate with the League, my dream wouldn’t come true! In order to fly my dream and surpass myself, no matter how hard it was, I must have a try!
And much to my happiness, I succeeded in getting a chance to compete in that contest with the help of the League. Yes, there is no doubt that where there is a dream, there is a way. Nothing is impossible if you try your best!
It is obvious that dreams play an important role in our life. With a dream, Yuan Longping rids the world of hunger; with a dream Michael Jordan became the most popular basketball star; with a dream I went to compete in the English speech contest. And with an aim of surpassing myself, I must do the best!
Do you have a dream? Don’t be afraid to face difficulties. Don’t give up in face of failure. Don’t lose heart in face of pain. Just fly your dream highly above the sky!
