Every day I pass by a homeless old man on the street. He usually sat near where I go to school. Whenever I pass by, he says “hello” in a cheerful manner, and I always say it back. I give him any extra change I have.

Now computers and mobile phones are more and more important in people’s life. Most Americans believe there are unspoken rules about the manners of using mobile phones.

For example, in the past, checking e-mails, sending text messages and making telephone calls while having dinner with others were impolite. But now things have changed. In Western countries,people used to write a thank-you note when someone helped them. It is used to express their thanks.
