1.1当代资源短缺—水资源短缺
1.1.1 全球淡水资源短缺状况
?地球水总量(tw)不小，但全球淡水资源(fw)储量很小，仅占全球总水量的0.3％，约为400km3左右
–主要是河流水、湖泊水和地下水
?陆地淡水资源分布不均，人均及单位面积土地的淡水(pfw)占有量不尽相同
–譬如：北非和中东许多国家(埃及、沙特阿拉伯等)降雨量少、蒸发量大，因此径流量小，pfw都很少；冰岛、厄瓜多尔、印尼等
国，以每公顷土地计的径流量比贫水国高出1000倍以上?1998年3月19-21日法国巴黎部长级关于水资源会议，探讨了水资源与可持续发展的关系：
–世界水资源研究所认为，全世界26个国家2.32亿人口已面临缺水，4亿人口用水的速度超过水资源更新速度，世界上约有1／5人口得
不到符合卫生标准的淡水
–世界银行认为，占世界40％的80多个国家在供应清洁水方面有困难
–其他研究预计，在20-30a内，淡水拥有量不足的人口达15亿。?中东地区（沙特阿拉伯、也门、阿曼、阿联酋、巴林、科威特、以色列等国）水资源奇缺
–从河流分布看，没有大流量的江河湖泊
–从地下水资源看，地下水均属不可再生型
–从降雨分布看，中东阿拉伯地区年降雨量不足160mm,其中2/3在100mm以下
?非洲是地球上另一严重缺水的地区
–在世界上缺水的26个国家中有11个都位于非洲
–近30年来，非洲人口增长率(30%)超过粮食增长率(2%),粮食不足，其主要原因是由于水资源的匮乏引起粮食生产不能满足要求

?全球总面积为51000*104km2,大陆和岛屿占14940*104km2,占29.2％，其中包括南极大陆和其他大陆上高山冰川所覆盖的土地。因此，无冰雪覆盖的陆地面积仅为13300*104km2
?土地资源存在着质量的属性（如土地的地理分布、土层厚度、肥力高低、坡度大小等），因此适于人类居住、人类进行各项活动的土地资源短缺，耕地资源极其短缺

?一次能源(指从自然界直接取得,而不改变其基本形态的能源,也称初级能源)和二次能源(指经过加工，转换成另一种形态的能源)
?常规能源(当前被广泛利用的一次能源)和新能源(指目前尚未被广泛利用,而正在积极研究以便推广利用的一次能源)
?可再生能源(能够得到不断补充的一次能源)和不可再生能源(须经地质年代才能形成而短期内无法再生的一次能源,但它们又是人类目前主要利用的能源)
1.3.2 世界能源消耗(当前特点)
?能源主要来自一次不可再生能源
–一次能耗结构发生改变，由以石油为主的一次能源消耗转变为以煤为主的能源消耗，并且天然气的消耗比重明显上升
?能源消耗水平差异很大
–占世界1/4的工业化国家消耗世界能源的3/4。其中，占世界人口5％的美国，能源消耗却占世界的25％。发展中国家能源消耗普遍较低。占世界人口15％的印度却只消耗世界能源的1.5％；中国的人均能源消耗不到世界人均能耗的1/3

2.1.1 人类活动对气候变化的影响
?人类在自身发展过程中对能源的过度使用和自然资源的过度开发，造成大气中温室气体的浓度一极快的速度增长，使得温室效应不断强化，从而引起全球其互的改变

2.1.2 全球气候变化及其可能造成的影响
?气候变化一般包括气温、降水和海平面的变化，研究表明：–过去100年里，全球平均气温上升了0.2～0.5° C，全球海平面上升了10～25cm，全球陆地降雨量增加了1％。
–如目前的温室气体排放不采取有效的控制对策，预计到2010年，全球气温将升高1～3°C，全球海平面将上升15～100cm，降雨强度将进一步增加

2.2.1 臭氧层
?平流层中最重要的化学组分就是臭氧，它保存了大气中90％的臭氧，人们将这一层高浓度的臭氧称为“臭氧层”。
?臭氧层的作用：
–臭氧对太阳的紫外辐射有很强的吸收作用，有效地阻挡了对地表生物有伤害作用的短波紫外线。因此，实际上可以说，直到臭氧层形成之后，生命才有可能在地球上生存、延续和发展，臭氧层是地表生物的“保护伞”
2.2.2 臭氧层破坏的原因
?科学研究证实：
–人工合成的一些含氯和含溴的物质中的氯和溴在平流层通过催化化学过程破坏臭氧是造成南极臭氧空洞的根本原因( 最典型的是氟氯碳化合物即氟里昂CFCs 和含溴化合物哈龙Halons)
