the odyssey years

Recently,my group have done an investigation on the topic of the odyssey years,which refer to a life phase filled with struggling and exploring for self-discovery.Then we will show the questions we prepared and the answer of our respondents.

Our investigation contains 100 young persons and their parents.When asked about whether they realize there is such a new life phase,80% persons answered "Yes".The reason is that the life phase obviously has some outstanding features,given by our respondents,such as being constantly at a loss and endlessly changing the decision for what to do tomorrow.During this period,they may frenquently stop learning to apply for a job and give it up to pursue academics without settling down.There are different responses to odyssey years among young people.70% of them hold the positive views,regarding that life phase as a period for them to better enjoy their precious youth and seize the opportunities for self-exploration.The remained 30% consider it a miserable time,in which they are always anxious and can't concentrate on one thing.Whether the odyssey years apply to every young person?60% answered "Yes" and 40% answered "No".As for parents,how do they react to this phase?What we get is that they may encourage their children to decide for themselves.Meanwhile,they carefully come up with suggestions and offer financial support.
