. HI-POT Test

According To: UL507 STANDARD FOR ELECTRIC FAN

Method: Put the High Voltage Probe (600VAC/1mA) between the lead wire and explosed metal part (if available) of the frame for 1 second.Judgment: Pass

. Insulation Resistance Test

According To: UL507 STANDARD FOR ELECTRIC FAN

Method: Connect Lead wires (tied together) and explosed metal part (if available) of the frame to insulation meter and apply 500VDC, >500M ohm for 2sec.Judgment: Pass

. Fan Temp. Rise Test (Free Running and Locked Rotor)According To: UL507 STANDARD FOR ELECTRIC FAN A. Free Running:**1. Before connecting to power supply, measure room temp. (TA1) and Winding Resistance (R1).

Calculate winding col temperature: T2=(R2/R2)(234.19+TA 2)-234.19Test Results:

MEASURED DATA

Running FREE RUN LOCKED ROTOR **2. After Fan running for 30mins., disconnect from power supply, measure again the room temp. (TA2r)

and Winding resistance (R2r). Please note that the temp. meter must be close to the fan while measuring temp.

B. Locked Rotor: Do the test on the same fan---Block the fan blade, connect to power supply for 2hrs, then measure the room temp. (TA2b) and winding resistance (R2b).
