attend on:服侍,伺候(更偏重于“侍候”,比如“下级”侍候“上级”“晚辈”侍候“长辈”。)

attend to照顾,护理(则偏重真正的照顾之意)=attend (on)

1.Dr Smith attended her in hospital. (给...看病)

史密斯医生在医院中给她治病.

2.A nurse attends to his needs.

有个护士照顾他.

3.The nurse is attending to a sick man.(比较例句9/4)
