Advertising is a very important means for us to reward information, advertising has been very specifically involved in the process of our daily life, become our daily life content, way of life and living environment. At the same time constant affects the idea, and practice of our.

Key words: Advertisement, Life, Influence

Introduction: Advertising is the product of the commodity economy, is the commodity economy or market economy thruster, is the bridge and link of communication and marketing. Advertising most essential features and basic function is to disseminate information, in the modern market economy society, leaving the economic information is difficult to normal social reproduction. Advertising in the life of today is necessary. Imagine if no advertising, you pick the goods in the shopping mall, a superb collection of beautiful things of the products you how to pick? Although occasionally credulity false advertising will disturb your life, your plan, but as long as circumspect can avoid this situation. Advertising has become part of our life, below I will from the following several aspects to talk about my own views:

1. The concept and form of the ads. Advertising is a particular need to, through some form of media, public and extensive transmission of information to the public means of publicity. Advertising takes many forms, for example: television advertising, network advertising, newspaper ads, posters, leaflets, spray around in bus advertising, posted on the wall of the small ads......So many advertising into every corner of our life, make us all.

2. Advertisement brings about both positive and negative effects to people's life.

2.1 The positive effects of advertising

2.1.1 Public service ads can purify people's hearts.Characteristics of public welfare advertisement is pure, na?ve, and has strong meaning of education and symbolic. Function is to arouse people's awareness, to attract the attention of some of their own things around, is very abstract. The content of public service ads are mostly some little things around us, but these things can often touch the real emotion in people's heart, to purify people's hearts.

2.1.2 Advertisements help consumers realize the products, access to information. Each new product come to the market, must take the dissemination of information about the product and market to consumers through advertising, so that consumers has purchase behavior. Enterprises through advertising. Introduces all kinds of products’ information to the vast number of consumers, and tell people, how to use these products to improve their life. Consumers according to their actual situation and the actual needs, choose their own products, to buy products with satisfaction.

2.1.3 Advertising imparts knowledge to consumers.Modern advertising, multifarious, advertise a variety of new products, at the same time, also to give consumers a variety of new knowledge about life and work. Because of modern advertising is a large part of the new invention, new propaganda to create products, it must spend considerable time to teaching and introducing the work mechanism of these new inventions and new creation principle and product

introduction, product characteristics, applications and using methods, and through the advertisement concisely impart new invention, new knowledge to the public.

2.1.4 Advertising guide consumption funds reasonable direction. In the past few years, you can often be seen in many of the savings and issuance of bonds and financing coupon advertising awards everywhere, attracted many consumers to put money into, so that private capital is concentrated on the construction of large projects. This is another effectiveness of advertising, it is reasonable to guide the consumer to consumer funds, the active social and economic.

2.2 The negative effects of advertisement.

2.2.1 Advertising is not real and deception. Some producers and advertisers did not reflect the true product function, exaggerated product the effect, produce misleading to consumers, violation of the basic rights and interests of consumers. This greatly discount consumers’ trust to advertising. There are a number of manufacturers, find some stars do speak, in fact, the product is not very good, but due to the star effect, allowing consumers to purchase, then hurting consumers, also makes the star status in the eyes of the audience is reduced. It is greatly harmful to people.

2.2.2 Extensive advertising audience in advertising magic culture scene, fueling the hedonism, mammonism and compare bad habits. Advertising in order to achieve the product promotion, a whoop and a holler, potentially distort people's consumption concept. People compare with each other; brand consumption has become the trend. At the height of the consumption society, to the performance of the rich life attitude through the material, resulting in the endless pursuit of differentiation competition, and encouraged to enjoy, to encourage luxury consumer advertising will undoubtedly played a role in fueling. When the pursuit of enjoyment, fashion and show off as a composition factor of mass psychology, which in turn will in turn affect the advertising creative, so vicious spiral, will only lead to mass culture mammonism mire, make the mass culture to the vulgar.

2.2.3 Content vulgar, polluting social environment. Advertising due to the dependence with commercial profit,so it is inevitable to use various ways for audiences of all ages, and even some content tends to be vulgar, vulgar, pollution of the environment. Even some unsuitable for children's advertising has frequently appeared in the children's circle, the children's growth is very adverse. In the questionnaire, 16.6% of the people think too much no connotation of the advertisement pollution of the social environment, shopping environment.

2.2.4 Interference with normal leisure. People most reflect is when watching TV or reading the newspaper appears advertising, just as people are enjoying watching or reading, advertising suddenly into, people will feel very tired of it. Of course, as the media, advertising is the largest of their income, which is understandable, but some media have reached the degree of https://www.360docs.net/doc/9b12787943.html, series like as spots of advertising, a little part of newspaper is the main content. This makes people's entertainment has become very depressed, and even interfere the normal leisure.

3. Conclusion: Above of all, in real life, we should correctly deal with advertising. Advertising to some extent is an indispensable part of people's life, bring us the latest product information and even some enlightenment; but there is no perfect things in reality, advertising also has its drawbacks, false advertising and product quality is not good phenomenon still exists. So we have to learn how to dialectically look at everything, so advertising influence people's life. So we should try to reduce their shortcomings, to play their positive role. Advertising has been very

specifically involved in the process of our daily life, become our daily life and good partner in the work. We are truly, have no choice but to live in the mass media construct for the dissemination of our ecological environment.

新托福TPO19阅读原文(一):The Roman Army's Impact on Britain TPO19-1:The Roman Army's Impact on Britain In the wake of the Roman Empire's conquest of Britain in the first century A.D., a large number of troops stayed in the new province, and these troops had a considerable impact on Britain with their camps, fortifications, and participation in the local economy. Assessing the impact of the army on the civilian population starts from the realization that the soldiers were always unevenly distributed across the country. Areas rapidly incorporated into the empire were not long affected by the military. Where the army remained stationed, its presence was much more influential. The imposition of a military base involved the requisition of native lands for both the fort and the territory needed to feed and exercise the soldiers' animals. The imposition of military rule also robbed local leaders of opportunities to participate in local government, so social development was stunted and the seeds of disaffection sown. This then meant that the military had to remain to suppress rebellion and organize government. Economic exchange was clearly very important as the Roman army brought with it very substantial spending power. Locally a fort had two kinds of impact. Its large population needed food and other supplies. Some of these were certainly brought from long distances, but demands were inevitably placed on the local area. Although goods could be requisitioned, they were usually paid for, and this probably stimulated changes in the local economy. When not campaigning, soldiers needed to be occupied; otherwise they represented a potentially dangerous source of friction and disloyalty. Hence a writing tablet dated 25 April tells of 343 men at one fort engaged on tasks like shoemaking, building a bathhouse, operating kilns, digging clay, and working lead. Such activities had a major effect on the local area, in particular with the construction of infrastructure such as roads, which improved access to remote areas. Each soldier received his pay, but in regions without a developed economy there was initially little on which it could be spent. The pool of excess cash rapidly stimulated a thriving economy outside fort gates. Some of the demand for the services

(4) Thousands of years ago the ancient peoples found out that days were longer in summer than in winter, and nights were shorter. They knew that this had a great deal to do with the changes of the seasons and the growth of plants and animals. They determined through generations of painstaking observation that the day was shortest in the Northern Hemisphere on the 22nd of December, after which it gradually grew longer until the 21st of June, when the day was the longest in the year and the night was the shortest. After that, the day would begin to shorten again gradually. In the beginning, the actual dates of these two days had to be calculated for each individual year, and depended on what kind of calendar was being used. The first calendar to fix these days on definite dates of the year was the solar calendar, which had 365 days in a year an d—every four year s—a “leap-year”with one extra day. To an observer on earth, the sun seems to move farther and farther away from the equator to the north until on June 21st it seems to reach its furthest point north. Then it seems to “pause”for one day before it turns around and goes back. Then it goes further and further south until on December 22nd it appears to “pause” again for one day before swerving back north again. These two days are called the Summer Solstice and the Winter Solstice respectively. Now we know that all this is caused by the movement of the earth around the sun. as the earth journeys around the sun, it spins on its own axis. This can be illustrated by a simple experiment. If you push a sharp stick through a rubber ball and twirl it with two fingers, the ball spins around I much the same way the earth is spinning at this very moment. The points where the stick comes through the ball correspond to the North and South Poles. If you twirl this ball at night directly in front of a bright light, you will notice that half the ball is lighted up while the other half is in the shade. That is just like our night and day. If you keep the stick strictly vertical to the light and twirl it at an even speed, any spot on the ball’s surface will be in the light and in the shade the same length of time. If the earth were spinning just like this rubber ball, there would only be day and night on earth, but no seasons, and days would always be the same length as night s—12 hours each. But that is not how the earth spins. It spins with its axis tilted. Its axis is always at the angle to the plane of its orbi t—and angle of about 23.5 degrees. It is this tilting that accounts for our four seasons and the lengthening and shortening of days and nights. For this reason also, the Equator (an imaginary line drawn around the earth at equal distance from the two poles) is not always directly under the sun’s rays. For six months the earth is tilted towards the sun, and the Northern Hemisphere gets more than its share of sunlight every day. Days are longer than nights, and what is more, the sun’s rays come down more perpendicularly instead of slanting down.
