The sharp increase in using plastic bags has given rise to such a problem as environmental pollution. It takes hundreds of years for plastic bags to be absorbed by soil, which will block the drainage system and cause water pollution. What’s worse, some bags are of poor quality and harmful to our health. In addition, they influence the appearance of cities.
Awareness of the matter in question is one thing, but how to cope with it is another thing. To solve the problem, use of disposable plastic bags in supermarkets should be limited strictly. Consequently, people start to use environment-friendly cloth bags and the running cost of supermarket is cut down as well. Only in this way can we achieve the sustainable development of our country.
