A summary of what education is

Education contains information, knowledge, and wisdom. But education is not just information, knowledge and education.

Information has simply to do with input and output, with memory and recognition. Information, or the processing of information, is not education. It is knowing how to handle information and what to do with it to understand the world and oneself that counts as an education.

Education let student not only learn the facts, but also acquire knowledge. Knowledge is a motivation that inspire student to seek, to succeed. However, knowledge is too impersonal and too specialized. Education is not primarily concerned with knowledge. Education is also an enriching, a deepening of personality, and a love for learning.

To make people be with wisdom is a point of an education. Education teaches students the fact and impart them knowledge. What is more, education should inspire wisdom in students to learn and keep on learning.
