Will newspapers and magazines disappear ？

So many students think that there will be no more newspaper in the future because everyone will get their news over the Internet. In this society , everyone has their private computer , when they need some informations,they can search the internet and they can get it completely .

But human nature is such that old habits die hard. Not sure how things will go but it would be sad if it ever came to it that the internet wiped out the paper media. In my opinon it is bound to take a great hit but it would never disappear.

Firstly , newspapers and magazines has more benefits in our life, some people says that they can get the information on the internet, newspaper is useless for themselves, but I don’t think so, computer has more conditions, such as it is not convient to take it everywhere, and it must have power when you use it, while newspapers and magazines is more convient than computer. It can be taken with easily, you don’t have to use power to read it .When we get up in the morning , we can read newspaper or magazines when we have breakfast .we can read it on the bus .when we have time we can read it everyminutes, it has been one part of our life. Thus we can know what happened this days. My father like to read the newspaper, everymorning, when he has breakfast, he is dreaking tea while reading newspaper, sometimes he may say something about the current affairs.

In this sociaty. Newspaper are also help the old people, some old people said that the most of their news are come from newspaper, they can not imagine the days which has no newspapers. we know that internet has it’s own strength. but for old people, they can not search infoemation from internet proficiently, so internet can not satisfied all the people. Magazines is loved by many young people, they like to read the story, they want to know which is fashionable,we also can see how to dress oneself. so we need newspaper and magazines.

According to a research about science and attainment in Shang Hai 2009, about

14.4% people think that TV and newspaper is the mainly way to get the information and internet is the thired way to get the informations. Nearly half (49%) of Americans agree with the statement "In the future, there will be more newspapers because they think newspaper’s information are more reliable than internet " according to a new survey from Arbitron and Edison Research.

Secondly, Internet is not safe, This time many virus on the internet,A computer virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infect a computer, viruses, may harm a computer system's data or performance. when people use the computer, they may pay more attention to their documents, because if they don’t take care of it, the virus will distory the document or they may lost some important informations.There were over 50,000 computer viruses in 2000 and that number was then and still is growing rapidly. Sophos, in a print ad in June 2005 claims "over 103,000 viruses." And, Symantec, in April 2008 is reported to have claimed the number is over one million. So it is not the safe way to use the computers to read the news. While there is no this trouble with newspapers and magzines. It is no doubt saying that newspaper is more safe than internet.

Thirdly, the news on the internet is unrealable. There are many advertisements on the internet, but some of them are not true. Many businesses have registered for false advertising for personal profit, even some expert public a fake research,Therefore, there is no authoritative data on the network. For example, there is a news on the internet,some media outlets believed unconfirmed reports that American actor Jeff Goldblum was dead. The news was revealed as a hoax, but that was after it was reported by some news outlets, ABC Radio said there were reports of the actor's death, but then spoke to New Zealand police, who said it was news to them.and US celebrity blogger Perez Hilton hit out at the rumours on his popular website “J eff Goldblum Is NOT Dead! Stop the rumors," he wrote. So we can see that the news on the internet is unrealable, but there has no this trouble with newspaper, as we known that newspaper has it’s own strengh, newspaper has a large great group to collect and select the news, because of their perfect works, the newspaper has high quality and authority. We can

see them everywhere. They bring the important informations from all of the world, so nespaper include all of the news of the world, it ‘s not only let us expand horizons but also open our mind, newspaper is more realable.

In summary, magazines and newspapers will not disappear in the future, first, newspapers and magazines has more benefits in our life, it’s more convient than computer, and it become one part of our life, second newspaper is more safe than internet.as we known that many virus on the internet, we must pay more attention on it,.third, newspaper is more realable. so many people will choose to read the newspaper than search the internet.
