It’s my great pleasure to present my lesson plan here. The lesson I’m going to talk about is unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains. I’ll interpret my lesson plan from the following aspects:

Firstly, I’d like to analyze the teaching material and learners.

This lesson is chose from the section A of unit 6, Book 8B, PEP Junior English. The topic of this lesson is legends and stories, which can arouse ss’great enthusiasm. The main task for ss is to tell stories. Even though ss are familiar with Chinese stories, they are not good enough to tell Chinese stories in English. Thus, enough practice will be organized to help ss learn some new words, phrases and sentence structures.

Based on the analysis above, I set the following teaching aims:

1. Knowledge aim. After the class, ss’ll know the English titles of some Chinese legends and understand the basic meaning of new words, phrases and sentences, such as, shoot, stone, earth, weak ,god, remind, silly, unless, as soon as, so that, how dose the story begin? What happened next?

2. Ability aim. By the end of this lesson, ss will be better able to tell stories and inquire the beginning, the process and the result of stories by using the newly learned vocabulary and sentences.

3. Emotional aim. Yu Gone’ story will inspire ss that nothing is impossible to a willing heart.

Next, let’s focus on the key point and difficult point.

The key point is to tell stories and talk about the development of the story.

The difficult point is to express personal opinions on different legends and stories.

To achieve the objectives above, I’ll adopt Audio-lingual Approach, Communicative Approach and Situational Teaching Method. And ss will learn through cooperation, communication and discussion.

Now, I’d like to describe my teaching procedure.

Step 1 is leading in.

At the beginning of the class, I’ll play a short clip of Journey to the west to attract ss’attention. Then, ss’ll be encouraged to come up with Chinese legends or stories and give the corresponding English titles under my instruction, such as Chang’e flies to the moon, Yu Gong moves a mountain, Hou Yi shoots the suns etc. Then, ss’ll match the English titles of Chinese legends in 1a with the corresponding pictures. So ss can guess the meaning of “shoot” here.

Now, ss’ve been familiar with these story titles. So, I’ll lead ss to the listening 1b

Here, Anna and Wang Ming are talking about a story. While ss listen for the 1st time, they will find out which story they are talking about. Then, I’ll lead ss to read the given sentences in 1b. After that they will listen to the conversation for the 2nd time and check the facts they hear. During the 3rd time, ss will read after the recording and learn some sentences to talk about the development of the story, such as板书How does the story begin? What happened next?

After the listening, it’s time for speaking.

Here, ss will work in groups to talk about the beginning, the process and the result of stories by using the newly learned sentences.

Now, ss’ve learned how to talk about the development of a story. So, I’ll guide ss to the next listening ,2a and 2b. Here, ss’ll learn how to tell a story.

First, I’ll guide ss to look at the pictures in 2a. Then, they will listen to Yu Gong’s story for the 1st time and number the pictures in order. Ss’ll guess the meaning of new vocabulary according to the context. Next, I’ll lead ss to read

the statements in 2b and learn some new words, such as weak, god, remind, as soon as, unless etc. As for the 2nd time, ss will circle some words they hear to complete the sentences in 2b. At the last time, ss’ll read after the recording and check their answers.

Now, ss’ve listening to Yu Gong’s story. So, next step 5 is telling the story. I’ll give the beginning of the story, ss will continue it in groups of 4.

Up to now, ss’ve learned how to talk about the development of stories and how to tell stories. So, it’s time to make a summary

I’ll invite ss to summarize what they have learned from this lesson and then we’ll make a summary together.

As for the homework, ss’ll tell a Chinese story.

At last, I’ll introduce the blackboard design.

新目标英语七年级上册Unit7说课稿 尊敬的各位评委老师: 你们好!我是来自烽火台中学的袁春梅,今天我说课的课题是新目标英语七年级上第七单元Uint 7 How much are these pants?下面我从七个方面说我这堂课的设计。 一、教材分析 教材的地位及作用 本课是新目标英语七年级上第7单元的第一课时,教材内容围绕着询问价格展开,让学生学会谈论物品的价格与颜色。本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中运用句型进行交际,培养学生的口语表达能力。并让学生将知识应用到实践中,做到学以致用。 《新课标》强调英语的交际性,通过本课的学习使学生能真正的做到用语言进行交际的最终目的。 二、学情分析 1.从学生的认知心理:七年级的学生他们正处在青春发育期,他们都有较高的求知欲和表现欲,希望自己的表现得到同学和老师的认可。特别是对他们熟悉的话题学生的爱好会更浓,本单元的话题正符合学生的这一心理特点,所以我就设计各种任务型的课堂活动让学生人人都能参与活动,增强他们的英语学习积极性和学习自信心。 2.学生的英语知识基础:学生通过近一个学期的英语学习,他们已具备了初步的语言表达能力,能用所学的语言知识谈论自己的喜好,所以我在充分了解学生的基础上因材施教,面向全体,分层教学,让每位学生都能有收获,体会成功的喜悦。 3.学生的思维能力:该年龄段的学生有很强的记忆力和模拟能力,但知识的拓展和运用的能力有待培养。我们教师要充分利用这一点在教学课本知识的同时,教会学生创造性地使用所学知识运用于实践。 三、教学目标 1.知识与能力 Section A主要是通过介绍服装,学习谈论服装的价格和颜色;学会谈论对服装的喜好和购物时使用的礼貌用语。 2.过程与方法 利用多媒体课件来展开课堂问答式的口语交际活动及模拟现实呈现真实购物场景,谈论服装并学习询问服装的价格与颜色;同时进行知识应用于实践的购物训练和听力训练。 3.情感态度价值观 本节课学习内容涉及学生的穿着,是爱美的中学生们最为关心的话题,比较贴近学生的生活,极易于激发学生的主动性和学习兴趣;同时通过购物的对话练习使学生养成节约用钱的生活习惯,理解尊重父母,感谢母恩及提高他们的审美能力。 四、教学的重点和难点 1.重点
