1 开机STOP+A,进入{1}OK环境,放入光盘,键入命令OK boot cdrom;

2 2500将重启,载入相关文件,等待时间较长;

3 出现一个选择Installer languages的页面:选择1)English;

4 进入solaris的图形安装界面,出现一个终端,告知所找到的磁盘及磁盘设备名。磁盘的c0t0d0s1用于swap,被选为SWAP的分区的数据将被擦除。选择y。等待相关安装软件被拷贝到硬盘上,拷贝完成后重启;

5 出现configure(配置)界面分别配置以下项目:

1)Network Connectivily 选Networked

2) USE DHCP 选No

3)HostName 填 KT2500

4)IP Address 填 单位的外网地址(因为后面要在网上下载相关软件,在装完后改为内网地址)10.18.X.X

5) netmask 255.255.255.0

6) IPv6 No

7) set the Default Route 有三项 (1)Detect one(检测一个) (2)Specify one(指定一个) (3)None(不选) 选择(3)

8) Router IP Address 10.X.X.254

9)Kerberos No

10) Name service 选择DNS

11)Domain Name :https://www.360docs.net/doc/f76890501.html,

12) Server's IP Address 61.138.2.69

13) search Domain: 202.98.198.168

14) specify timezone by: 选Geographic Continent/Country/Region

15) 选择Asia - china

16)Date and time 填入时间

17)root password : *******

18)Proxy Server Configuration: 选择Direct connection to the Internet (直接连接到Internet)

19) Confirm 确认

6 配置完成后进入到 solaris web界面 Installer Options 有两个选项:

(1)Reboot automatically after software installtion YES

(2)Ejact CD/DVD automatically after software installtion YES

7 指定介质 Media 选择CD/DVD,这时Installion 的光盘退出,放入Solaris software;单击OK,等待....

8 选择安装方式 选择 Initial Install 初始化安装

9 选择安装类型 选择Custom Install方式 (因为这里涉及到后面将分区等工作 Default 安装可能分区不能满足要求)

10 选择软件定位,在这里English 是默认的,可以选择安装Asia 中的Chinese (UTF-8)(zh.UTF-8)及Chinese (China,GB18030)(zh_CN.GB18030)

11 Select System Locale(Select the initial locale to be used after the system has benn installed) 选择在系统安装后被使用的初始语言,选择English(United States,ISO8859-1)(en_US.ISO8859-1)

12 Select Products 选择要安装的软件包 按默认的方式

13 Additonal Products 选择额外产品 (To scan for additional products,select the location you wish to scan. Products found at the selected location that are in a Web Start Ready install form will be added to the Products list) 选择None;

14 选择Solaris 软件组,直接安装 Entire Group,这里有一个Default Packages 和Custorm Packages 一般选择前者,选后者可以看看具体安装了什么包。


15 Disk Selection 选择Disk 并开始分区;将Available Disks ADD>> Selected Disks;

16 询问是否保留数据 这里选择NO;

17 Layout of File System,部署分区选择Modify,按照使用情况分为

根据我的经验在安装完成后,/usr的将放入系统软件,占用率较高,分配15G;安装第三方软件一般装在/opt下;按照solaris的新标准,home目录都放到了/export/home用户的数据也放在这个分区上,设定30G空间;swap按照内存两倍的方法设置;

next后 开始漫长等待,可以去来怀Espresso;

在安装完solaris 9 software (1 2),languages,Documention(1 2),software supplement后,可以选择不安装SUN JAVA Enterprise System,因为单位不需要这些服务。

这样就完成了solaris9 在SUN Blade2500上的安装。





安装Solaris 9 JumpStart服务器的起因为想在一台E450服务器上重新安装Solaris 9操作系统,但是该服务器的光驱发生故障,不能够读取任何光盘,所以考虑配置Solaris 9 JumpStart服务器,从网络引导后安装。
机房环境中有一台专门用于管理的Sun Blade 100工作站,所以考虑在该台机器上实现Solaris 9 JumpStart服务器。另外,根据网上的文档,Jumpstart服务器也可以跨平台实现,所以有人在自己的笔记本上安装Vmware,并在虚拟机上安装Solaris 10 x86,然后在其上实现JumpStart服务器,这样以后在客户现场可以非常容易地安装操作系统。在这一次的工作环境中,Blade 100工作站上的操作系统为Solaris 10 Sparc。IP地址为100.100.100.10,与被管理机器通过专网连接。
1.首先创建安装目录
mkdir /usr/local/solaris9/install
mkdir /usr/local/solaris9/config
2.复制光盘内容
采用Solaris 9 sparc 9/05 DVD光盘镜像文件,所以没有更换光盘的步骤。
下载文件sol-9-905hw-ga-sparc-dvd.iso到/usr/local/soft目录,并mount这个ISO文件。
lofiadm -a /usr/local/soft/sol-9-905hw-ga-sparc-dvd.iso /dev/lofi/1
lofiadm
mount -F hsfs /dev/lofi/1 /mnt
然后进入到相关的Tools目录下,并开始复制安装文件到硬盘上
cd /mnt/Solaris_9/Tools/
./setup_install_server /usr/local/solaris9/install

3.编辑配置文件

6.检查配置文件是否正确

7.在/etc/hosts文件中添加相应的主机
vi /etc/hosts

8.编辑/etc/ethers文件,用于RARP解析

9.添加安装客户端

由以上可见,Solaris8系统已识别优盘。但mount的多次都不行,只好老实查man了。
