A film review

Horry Potter is a world famous remarkable work.. Regardless of its books or films, both enjoy a good popularity by people. With the growing up of harry potter, each series has told us a lot of truth in life: loyalty, faith, friendship, understanding and communication etc, which are critical for our growth. Yet I’ve watched a film about the writer of Horry Potter. I was deeply obsessed by the film. Indeed, Horry Potter brings us too much fun that we even grow up together with harry potter.

The film tells the story of harry potter's magic series author J.K Rowling who grew from a young girl of rich imagination to become one of the most influential writer's legendary life experience. The film began with the scene that J.K Rowling met her fans in a grand opening-meeting on the day of Nov.4th 2001, It’s been a huge success. We can see J.K Rowling may be one of the wealthiest woman in the world, but she was once a poor woman who suffered the death of mother in early years and husbands’ betrayal and maltreat.

When she was a child, she was quite intelligent, but her behavior in class or daily life may made others think she was a little bit incompliant and weird, however, her mother was always hold total faith in her, consider she was a good and potential kid and support her to do what she wants to do. She used to like writing and her dream was become a writer. While her father hold she should do something more practical. She was once keen on study in Oxford University, whereas her parents cannot afford it. That autumn, she started studying at the University of Exeter in England.

After graduation, she became an office lady in a company, but she has not had any motivation in doing this job. Later she quit this job to do what she aspire to do. Then she took on the train from Manchester to London, during the journey, her inspiration suddenly lighten out about the magic boy. Before long, on a new year, she heard the tragedy about her mother’s death, which has haunted her life. The next job for her was a teacher in Portugal. She settled there and began her new life, she made good roommates there. She also met a man and married him. However, the man was a total asshole after and by his last violence, she leaf him.

She flied back to Edinburgh in 1993, then, she had just given birth a baby, though she had to bear the heavy burden of raising the baby by her own. To make a living, she resorted to relief. As a single mother, her emotion was breakdown over the days, her mind was even filled with suicidal thoughts once a time. Everyone has “those days”, I suppose, maybe that’s the hardest days of Rowling.And however, she had made it through, isn’t it? One day, Rowling decided to show her work to her sister, She has never ceased writing all the time. by that time she has finished 7 pieces of scripts actually. After reading the script, her sister was surprised by the magic words. And strongly support her to write on. This, was her most precious thing. She began to look for publishers, In the meantime, she also act as a teacher.

The first book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was turned down by some publishers, because they normally believed that children’s book rarely make money. Mercifully, she got an agent and she was persuaded to change her name. thus she changed her name to J.K Rowling named after her grandmother Joanne. With the their of the agent Christopher litle, a publisher named Bloomsbury Publishing Plc wanted to publish it. She jumped with excitement at hearing this news. Also for this reason, she made a handsome money. She can bring her daughter up by her own she thought. She really did it. What’s more, one years later, the book was well selling and

crack the American market, the American market hit the record for the right of publication at the price of USD105,000. Her book was also going to published in America and children everywhere were going to feed on her route. Her life was truly about to change. How much she wished her mother was by her side at that moment. And her mother must be so proud of her.

This is quite a motivational movie that I was completely moved by it. I leaned so much from it. The successful woman has been on the rates, experienced the loss of mother, suffered terrible marriage, down in the dumps, but she decided to hold on, she has gone through much, it is her persistence that achieve the final success of harry potter. She hasn’t got the chance to go to Oxford, but Luckily ,many scene of harry potty was taken place in Oxford , this was consolation enough, she also got the L.D. degree of her school in the year of 2000.

J.K Rowling has addressed in graduation speech of Harvard University that some failure in life is inevitable, it is impossible to live without failing at something. No one can escape the fate of the constantly changing, perhaps you wholeheartedly look forward to success, but failure will still be with. Failure can let us know ourselves, will also give us the courage to press forward with indomitable will. That is a wonderful truth.

I have been much affected by her tenacity，intelligence, ambition, independence, capability and strong will, and those trains are always the power for me to emulate to my rest life. We should always hold fast to our dreams, take one's courage in both hands and never say die, one day our dream will come true.
