2-wheel design, the prototype instead uses a "rotating semispherical part" that looks like the lower half of a sphere and rotates constantly. As soon as the driver pushes forward it drives on at walking speed.

The Palazzo Versace hotel in Australia is about to create a dog package for their canine guests, the Daily Mail of London reported. The service costs ￡350 (RMB3,308) per night. Besides room service, these four-legged guests will be in the lap of luxury with their own futon bed, fashionable canine couture and the chance to hang out at a fine-dining restaurant. The pets will enjoy five-star services and can even be served by several people at the same time.

Daredevils kayak on lava 勇士探险喷发火山

A trio of kayakers recently took their daredevilry to scorching heights when they paddled in a red-hot lava "river" near an active volcano, foreign media reported. Kayakers Pedro Oliva, Chris Korbulic and Ben Stookesberry had been on an expedition in Hawaii when they came across the fiery Kilauea volcano. The trio paddled within feet of the blistering lava flows spewing from the volcano, before taking to the expanding lava coastline on foot. The Brazilians even tested the searing heat of the 700C to 1,100C molten lava by dipping an oar into it.

Gasmy Joseph airbrushes advertisements for local businesses onto his giant punk haircut - charging up to $1,200 a time for a weekend, foreign media reported. Using spray paint to transform his head into a walking billboard, 36-year-old Gasmy first hit on the idea when he used his massive hair to promote a friend's party around 8 months ago. So far, Gasmy has booked himself 25 clients.

Women in India have formed a civilian self-defense group called "the Red Brigade" to fight back against a growing number of sexual attacks on women, the Guardian reported. Formed 2 years ago, the group now has more than a hundred members. They walk through the Midiyav slum in the northern city of Lucknow. The group of young women wear distinctive red and black salwar kameez. Most have been victims of sexual assault, and have resolved to fight back.

Keshia Castle, the boy's mother, was furious that he was sent home. He had begged her all spring break to cut his hair into the mohawk, and she finally let him get it. Timothy Doner can master a language in just a few weeks with the help of instructional books, friends and even Bollywood and World War II films. The talented youth not only can speak common European languages such as French, German and Spanish, but can also talk fluently with speakers of isiXhosa, a language of South Africa and natter in Ojibwe - an obscure Native American language.
