WINDOWS XP安装IE8失败的解决方法：

有些网站用IE6已经不行了，只好升级。但是安装IE8出现错误：

首先声明我不想重装系统。

查了网上大多数的解决方法，都不行，包括卸载全部WINDOWS更新包。删除\WINDOWS\INSTALLER、停止安全卫士、选IE7安装、清空ADMINISTRATOR密码（这损招是想干什么？）、查杀木马、查杀病毒。。。。。

最后偶然在C:\WINDOWS目录下看到了IE8.log，打开有类似如下内容：

看来是有些系统运行库出现问题了，从网上下载了msxml6.DLL; pidgen.dll，注意选择对应版本的，我的是XP 32位，放到C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\目录下，覆盖。

重新启动系统….

安装IE8。。。。。。。。。。OK!
