How universities can serve the society better? Hello,
Everyone! I want to say something about how universities serve the society better.
What is university? Its core is that person, especially a place which can cultivate students, even the talented. What is the talented? Are they the genius want to be promoted and make big money after graduated from college, but doing nothing; or the advanced dream about living a happy life, instead of considering others, the society and the country ; or the youth with great ambitions ,but not taking actions; or the social gifted will use any ways in order to earn their bread? No, they are all not. If there are all the kinds of person, the society may be cry out.
The university can cultivate students so as to serve the society. The university can foster these persons that have dreams and are willing to strive for it; that always care for even love the society and others after knowing about some truths and meeting some difficulties. There are thousands of students from universities to the society every year, and they can stand for the advanced culture and productivity. If they can let the society full of amity and hope, and let people feel their value, it can prove the university is great and contribute itself to the society really. Furthermore, there are many scientific institution and advanced technologies in universities, including in our daily life, warlike research
and development in order to serve people. It is very important to serve the society better.
Consequently, the university also needs the society to offer some services. This is not one-side. If we regard universities as profited organizations, the universities will become without warmth . To construct the country must base on cultivating person on the basis of erecting personality. The university can cultivate that the people are willing to devote themselves, take actions and long to brightness and hope in order to serve the society better, instead of just saying some slogans.
Thanks all of you!。
