(1)理论课程教学大纲《大学英语》教学大纲College English课程代码:211101-4 学时:192 学分:12理论学时:128 实验或讨论学时:64适用专业:非英语专业本科生课程性质:必修撰稿人:徐峰李华审定人:一、课程说明根据教育部大学英语教学改革方针和部署,以及最新颁布的《大学英语课程教学要求》(以下简称《要求》),针对我校大学英语教学的实际情况,特制订《齐鲁理工学院大学英语课程教学大纲》,作为我校组织非英语专业本科生英语教学的主要依据。

(一)、课程性质、地位与任务大学英语教学是高等教育的一个有机组成部分,大学英语课程是大学生的一门公共基础必修课。

《大学英语》是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。

其教学目的是培养学生具有较强的英语综合应用能力,同时增强自主学习能力和综合文化素养,以适应今后工作、进一步学习和进行国际交流的需要。

大学英语教学的目的是在夯实学生语言基础的同时,进一步培养和提高学生的听、说、读、写、译能力。

通过提问和讨论,培养学生分析、推理、归纳、综合等思考能力和表述、研讨、争辩、应答等语言运用能力。

具体要求:经过基础阶段的英语学习,使学生达到高等学校大学英语四级(College English Test 4, 简称CET-4)的水平。

本课程任务:1.大学英语教学是实施全面素质教育的主要途径。

语言基本功的训练是大学英语教学的首要任务,并且贯穿于教学的全过程,在注重学生各项技能全面发展的同时,突出说、写、译等语言交际能力的培养。

2.大学英语课程教学既提高学生的业务素质,又培养其思想道德素质、文化素质和心理素质,并重视学生思维能力和创新能力的养成。

(二)、课程教学的基本要求针对学生实际情况,我校大学英语课程教学按照《要求》的指导精神对学生四个学期的英语学习提出一下基本要求。

基本要求是针对我校学生入学时英语水平的实际情况而设置的。

大学英语课程考试大纲

大学英语课程考试大纲根据教育部《大学英语课程教学要求》的规定,大学英语的教学是“以英语语言知识与应用技能,学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力”。

“考试应以评价学生的英语综合应用能力为主”。

根据上述的规定,本大纲规定以下原则及考试内容。

一、考试目的1.检查大纲执行情况,特别是大纲所要达到的综合语言技能和交际能力,籍以促进大纲的进一步贯彻落实,从而提高教学质量。

2.选拔优秀学生继续深造学习。

二、命题要求为了较好地考核学生运用技能的综合能力,既照顾到科学性,客观性,又考虑到英语测试的特点,本考试的形式采取客观试题与主观试题相结合,单项技能测试与综合技能测试相结合的方法。

从总体来说,客观试题占总分的百分之六十,主观试题占总分的百分之四十。

三、考试内容本考试包括五个部分:听力理解、阅读理解、词汇与结构、翻译或完型填空、写作。

1、听力理解(Part I: Listening Comprehension)1)测试要求a.能力听懂交际场合中各种英语会话。

b.能听懂VOA特别节目中有关政治、历史、文化教育新闻时事等报到。

c.能基本听懂外国专家用英语讲授的课程。

2)题型听力理解部分包括二或三个项目:Section A,Section B/C。

考试时间为:20分钟。

Section A: Short ConversationSection B: Passages/DialoguesSection C: Compound Dictation2、阅读理解(Part 2: Reading Comprehension)1) 测试要求a、能读懂一般题材的英文文章。

b、能读懂国内外英文报刊,掌握中心意思,理解主要事实和有关细节。

c、能读懂工作,生活中常见的应用文件和材料。

2)题型阅读理解部分由四篇短文组成,其后共20道题,要求学生根据短文内容,隐含意义,在40分钟内完成。

3、词汇与结构(Part 3: V ocabulary and Structure)1)测试要求a、掌握4500个词汇和700个词组,其中2000个词汇为积极词汇,要求会运用。

一、课程性质大学英语教学是我国高等教育的一个重要组成部分,《大学英语》课程是非英语专业大学生的一门必修基础课。

《大学英语》是以外语教学理论为指导,以英语语言知识与应用技能、跨文化交际和学习策略为主要内容,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。

本课程实行学分制,学生必须按要求修满规定的学分。

二、教学目标大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后学习、工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行交际,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。

三、教学对象本大纲的教学对象是我校所有非英语专业本科生。

入学时,他们应已基本掌握高中英语语音和语法知识,并在听、说、读、写等方面受过初步的训练。

四、教学要求根据教育部《大学英语教学要求》的精神:“大学英语教学应贯彻分类指导、因材施教的原则,以适应个性化教学的实际需要。

”新生入学后参加我校大学英语分级考试。

根据新生的实际英语水平,划分到大学英语C级班、B级班和A 级班。

经过大学英语课程的学习,各级学生分别达到《要求》规定的一般要求,较高要求和更高要求。

三个层次的英语能力要求如下:一般要求:1. 听力理解能力:能听懂英语授课,能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材的讲座,能听懂语速较慢(每分钟130 ~150词)的英语广播和电视节目,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。
