牛津初中英语MainTask部分的特色及优化处理内容摘要:11月份,扬州市举行的青年教师“同课异构”赛课活动中,选了8AUnit3的MainTask为赛课内容。
笔者有幸参加了本次赛课活动。
听了十几节课题一样但上课风格迥异的课,很有感触。
下面我就根据自己的听课感受以及自己教授MainTask部分的实践和经验,阐述一下MainTask部分的编写特色,并探讨如何对牛津初中英语教材中的MainTask部分进行行之有效的教学。
一、牛津初中英语MainTask部分的编写特色和功能1.教材内容广泛实用,有利于激发学习兴趣,培养学习能力《牛津初中英语》素有“语言好,理念新,方法活”的评价。
每个单元都围绕一个话题展开,让学生通过参与、合作、交流、体验、实践和探究等方法,学习和使用英语,学会用英语完成学习任务。
而每个单元的MainTask部分是整个单元的精华所在,它是一个使学生的综合语言运用能力得到升华的板块。
该板块内容多样,涵盖了学生个人、家庭、朋友情况,涉及学生的日常生活、学校生活、兴趣爱好、饮食健康、体育娱乐、动物保护、自然环境等各类话题。
内容贴近学生生活,反映时代特点。
涉及美术、生物、地理、历史、体育等学科。
容易激发学生的写作兴趣。
写作训练包括邀请信、申请书、推荐信、投诉信以及海报、网页设计及演讲稿。
各种文体的范文及英语写作方法的介绍,为学生适应现代的实际需要打下坚实的基础,培养了学生学习策略和自主学习的能力。
2.教学目标明确,有利于教师的教学《牛津初中英语》教材按照任务型教学的原则设计语言实践活动,在编排上体现了语言教学的整体性和综合性原则。
每个单元MainTask部分是每个单元的高潮。
它是在学生学习了本单元的课文、词汇以及语法的基础上,要求学生综合运用本单元所学的知识和所获得的技巧、能力完成特定的任务。
这一任务在第一课时就已点明,此后的各项活动和子任务都在不同程度上指向中心任务。
如课文教学是为了帮助学生积累单元写作话题的语言知识和谋篇布局的感性经验;词汇教学主要是为学生的写作扩大词汇量;语法教学则是为学生准确的运用英语语言表达自己的思想起到了强化训练的作用。

在前一部分听力材料处理的基础上,学生已经就future plans有所了解。教师趁热打铁又设计阅读练习,难度不大,而且学生可以接触更多职业,同时在语篇中教师融入了跨文化意识的培养。这一设计既让学生对新学知识加强巩固,还训练学生找关键词的能力,为后一课时做好铺垫。

是既承担了落实本单元教学重点的任务,又承担了对学生口笔头的实际动手能力,因此是很好的学习题材。

因此,学习本单元不仅要落实具体的学习任务,更要培养学生热爱家乡的情感。
【学情分析】
初二学生有了一定的英语语言的基础,所以教师可以采取激励机制,激发他们的表达欲望,激发他们的参与意识,培养他们的合作精神和探究精神。
从而形成自己的审美观和价值观。
因此要加强写作方面的训练。
【教学手段】
采用多媒体课件教学。
利用图片、音乐、视频等多媒体素材。

初中牛津英语9A Unit 2 Main task 模块的教学案例

教学实践2014-06一、背景介绍和教材分析随着课改的向前推进,中考对学生的写作要求越来越高,在中考笔试试卷上,写作占15分(总分96分)之多,比重也越来越大。
为了能提升学生的写作能力,英语教师想方设法,绞尽脑汁。
然而,在平时的教学中和考试的质量分析情况看,在书面表达这一项中学生存在的问题很多,得分率普遍偏低,这无疑对学生的学习语言造成了巨大障碍。
要想有效地提高学生的书面表达能力,更好地发展学生学习语言的基本技能,提高英语教学质量,就必须在平时的教学中寻找更多行之有效的策略,训练学生的写作能力。
为此,2013年10月份,我校英语组举行了“同课异构”赛课活动,笔者有幸参加了本次赛课活动。
我参赛的课题为9A Unit2 Colours and moods的Main task部分,本单元的中心话题是“颜色与心情”,学习不同种类的颜色及其对人情绪的影响。
而Main task部分是利用所学知识来鼓励学生谈论不同颜色在日常广告中的运用是否得当。
上课之前我已经听了其他年级几位老师的课,并发现了上课环节中的几点不足,对自己所设计好的PPT进行了修改,努力想把这节课上出特色来。
二、教学过程在平时的教学中,为了调动学生学习英语的主动性和积极性,并且营造一种良好的课堂学习氛围,我非常注重在上课前留预习作业,让学生课后准备一点与新课相关的东西。
比如,这节课前,我让学生设计一套参加生日派对的衣服,说明颜色和为什么要穿这样的颜色。
准备一份daily report,以便在课堂例行daily report中展示,这样,学生会主动去复习颜色及其对人情绪的影响,上课时我无需展示太多的图片或视频来复习与写作有关的颜色及其所代表的含义。
